Deze wandeltocht met kleine groep biedt een intieme ervaring van Brussel. Je Gids leidt je door het historische centrum en de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden, waaronder de Grote Markt, de Koninklijke Galerijen, de kathedraal, Manneken Pis, het Koninklijk Plein en de Kunstberg. De ervaring begint met een wafelproeverij bij The Waffle Heritage, vergezeld van koffie of thee. Tijdens de tour proeft u Belgische specialiteiten, waaronder chocolade van een Koninklijke Leverancier en traditionele zoetigheden gebaseerd op recepten die meer dan 500 jaar teruggaan. Hoewel de tour proeverijen omvat, blijft het een echte historische wandeling. In 2,5 uur tijd kom je langs de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden van Brussel en biedt een complete ervaring die geschiedenis en gastronomie combineert. U verkent Brussel weg van de drukste drukte in een meer persoonlijke setting. De wandeling eindigt op het Koninklijk Plein, met een prachtig uitzicht over de stad en gemakkelijke toegang tot de Grote Markt via de Kunstberg. We ontmoeten elkaar bij Waffle Heritage (Rue Lebeau 25), waar de ervaring begint met een wafelproeverij vergezeld van koffie of thee.
Hier kunt u luisteren naar en persoonlijk kennismaken met de Belgische GOAT, verkozen door de Belgen in het jaar 2000.
Onze gids ontmoet je vlak voor de hoofdingang van het stadhuis. Van daaruit zal hij je rondleiden over het plein om de symbolen op de verschillende gevels te beschrijven en te decoderen: het stadhuis, het Koningshuis, het Huis van de Hertogen en vele andere belangrijke huizen met belangrijke namen als Victor Hugo of Karl Marx.
Waarom deze fontein van een plassende jongen zo belangrijk werd, is niet altijd logisch. Terwijl je geniet van een warme wafel, legt onze gids je de hele geschiedenis uit die verder gaat dan deze mysterieuze jongen. Ondanks zijn teleurstellende formaat zul je hem aardig gaan vinden en onze Belg ook mentaal gaan waarderen.
Een kleine wandeling in dit prachtige en serene park is een korte ontsnapping uit het stadscentrum. Dankzij de tijdelijke tentoonstelling van Gelucks Le Chat-sculpturen leer je meer over de Belgische humor.
Deze kathedraal is een monument dat u niet mag missen tijdens uw verblijf in Brussel. Ondanks de soberheid zullen de sculpturen en de glas-in-loodramen van deze heldere kerk u verbazen. De Stoel van de Waarheid wordt beschouwd als een meesterwerk van houtbeeldhouwwerk uit de 17e eeuw.
In dit deel van de stad voelt u zich meer Parijs of Wenen. Heel anders dan de architectuur van het startpunt, is dit plein een ideale plek om af te sluiten met een verbluffend zicht op de stad. Onze gids zal dan alle nodige tijd besteden aan advies en hulp bij het organiseren van de volgende dagen in de stad.
Als leverancier van de koninklijke familie zal het Huis Mary u verbazen met zijn heerlijke chocolaatjes en sprookjesachtige setting. In de Koninklijke Galerijen leer je alles over Belgische finesse en chocolade.
Een wandeling naar het stadscentrum op de Mont-des-Arts zal een welverdiende beloning zijn. Je stopt misschien regelmatig om mooie foto's te maken, maar geniet zeker van de trappen en het Albertine Park.

This was a fun tour that was nicely broken up by switching between eating Belgian treats and visiting historical cites in the city center. I would highly recommend this tour for those who are new to Brussels and want to taste authentic Belgian chocolate and waffles. Our tour guide was fantastic.

This tour was lots of fun!! Learned a lot, hit all the big spots, and had some delicious Belgian pastries. As an avid walking-tour goer, Paul was one of the best guides I've had! It lasted exactly 2.5 hours, and was the highlight of my Brussels trip. Would absolutely recommend!
Bring really comfortable shoes and if you are doing it during a heatwave like we did..water bottles..fans..umbrellas..anything to help you survive! The guide was fun and fantastic and learned a lot during the tour. They did cut out the royal palace though and the other location.
Very informative tour. It was an exceptionally hot day and our guide Francois was very careful to make sure everyone found plenty of shade and stayed hydrated.

We had such a wonderful time on our tour!! Our guide, Sarah, was so sweet, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about Brussels and its history. We started with delicious Belgian waffles and then sampled chocolate and other tasty treats as we explored the city. It was the perfect combination of sightseeing, history, and food. Sarah made the whole experience so much fun. Highly recommend this tour!
Our guide, François, was very informative, without bombarding us with information. As well as that, he was very conscious of the scorching weather and kept us in the shade for the large majority of the time. The waffles provided upon entrance are very good, along with the chocolates too.
We did the 10am tour with Clemens - who is an incredible guide. He is filled with knowledge, connects stories well to other references, and has a good sense of humor. The chocolates we tried on the tour and the learning of how chocolate is made in Belgium has forever altered my cacao palette. We certainly left this tour with an education that'll last a lifetime! The tour was 3 hours, totally worth the cost as there was something for everyone to enjoy during the walk. Our group size was reasonable (approx 15) and the weather was perfect that morning. The old town square is a sight in of itself to behold - but the historical context made it that much more enjoyable.
We had a great time on this walking tour. We learnt all about Brussels, from its history to its most iconic celebrities. Our tour guide Clemment was both informative and inclusive. Would definitely recommend as a ‘must do’ as soon as you land in the area. Particularly if you want to ensure you can identify the best quality chocolates to purchase for your family and friends back home.
