Na een veilige en schilderachtige rit van Parijs naar Noord-België, kom je aan in het middeleeuwse centrum van Brugge, een UNESCO Werelderfgoed dat beroemd is om zijn grachten, geplaveide straatjes en prachtig bewaarde Vlaamse gevels. Volg uw Gids op een wandeltocht door de oude stad voordat u geniet van vrije tijd om op eigen houtje te verkennen, te lunchen en de stad in uw eigen tempo te ontdekken.
Geniet van een rondvaart door de grachten, met het beste uitzicht op de middeleeuwse gevels van Brugge en de meest iconische fotoplekken (elke dag van april tot oktober). In de winter wordt de cruise vervangen door een bezoek aan de gotische hal van het stadhuis en transformeert de stad in een magische omgeving met kerstverlichting, markten en feestelijke decoraties.
Bezoek de Grote Markt, het bruisende hart van Brugge, omzoomd met kleurrijke gildehuizen, cafés en gezellige terrasjes. Het is een van de beste plekken om het dagelijkse ritme van de stad te voelen, van passerende locals en bezoekers tot paardenkoetsen en openluchtcafés.
Kijk dan eens naar het Belfort, de toren die het plein domineert en ooit diende als Brugges belangrijkste wachttoren en symbool van macht. Je Gids zal je wijzen op de belangrijkste kenmerken en verhalen vertellen over zijn rol in het middeleeuwse leven, en je laten zien waar je enkele van de beroemdste frietkraampjes (frietkoten) kunt vinden als je authentieke Belgische friet wilt proeven.
Een rustig complex van witgekalkte huizen en een rustige groene binnenplaats gesticht in 1245. Ooit woonden er begijnen – zelfstandige lekenvrouwen die een vroom maar ongehuwd leven leidden – maar nu wordt het bewoond door benedictijnenzusters en enkele Brugse vrouwen. Uw Gids legt de geschiedenis van het begijnhof uit en waarom het deel uitmaakt van het beschermde erfgoed van UNESCO. Het is een oase van rust op wandelafstand van de grachten en een van de meest sfeervolle plekjes van Brugge.
Stop bij Rozenhoedkaai, een van de meest gefotografeerde uitkijkpunten van Brugge, waar grachten, gevels, bomen en bruggen een perfect ansichtkaartentafereel vormen. Vanaf hier begrijp je echt waarom Brugge het “Venetië van het Noorden” wordt genoemd.
Ga dan verder richting het Minnewater, een romantisch meer met zwanen en historische gebouwen dat ooit de oude haven van het middeleeuwse Brugge vormde. Beide plekken zijn ideale momenten voor foto’s en om gewoon de sfeer van de stad op te snuiven voor of na je vrije tijd.

I had a great time. Bruges is a beautiful medieval city. The guide, Juan Miguel, explained the history of this city well. I recommend it.
Our day trip to Bruges from Paris was “c’est manifique!”. Our tour guide Andres was amazing and was the perfect host. Traffic was a bit sticky getting out of Paris, but once we hit the highway it was smooth sailing. We made a quick bathroom and breakfast pitstop on the way and then arrived in Bruges around 11 for a wonderful quick tour with Andres. He was very informative and was an excellent photographer, offering to take photos at all of the right spots. We took a quick boat tour and then were given ample free time to explore the city before heading back to Paris. The weather and pacing for the day was perfect and allowed us time to enjoy lunch, shopping, and the beautiful scenery. I would highly suggest this trip to anyone wanting to enjoy the charm of Bruges, without staying over night. We truly were able to enjoy the city, and some chocolates of course, without any trouble. This is the perfect way to travel to Bruges and make sure you see all the sights in a short amount of time.

Our guided trip to Bruges was outstanding. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the long drive enjoyable with easy and pleasant conversation. Very misleading. 9 of us including the driver were in a small cramped minivan. It was a very long way to travel in a small vehicle. We were lead to believe it would be a coach. Very uncomfortable and only one usb to charge 9 phones. We were not offered champagne or Belgium chocolate. Bruges is a gem of a town though.

Very good experience, on time; a super attentive driver, a very good van, good recommendations, I liked that they give you enough free time and the place is incredible, it is definitely worth it.
Our guide Remy was wonderful and gave us great insight on where to go for a delicious lunch. The boat ride was so fun and make sure you have your cameras ready for some beautiful pictures of the city. Yes it is a long day of driving, but definitely a great experience!

Bruges itself was absolutely lovely and well worth visiting. The canal tour was a highlight, and the city is charming, walkable, and full of character. Unfortunately, I would not recommend visiting through Viator. The drive was stressful due to the guide’s erratic driving, and the “guided tour” consisted mostly of very basic commentary with no historical or cultural information. The guide also arrived late, and there were several moments where she seemed unprepared. If I were to do it again, I would take the train and hire a local guide in Bruges. The train is faster and more relaxing, and exploring with a knowledgeable local guide would have made for a much better experience while allowing more flexibility to enjoy the city at my own pace.

Was to be English speaking. First hour on bus - continuous Spanish. Late arriving at location so walk to boat was faster than some (I) could handle. I thought boat driver jokes were inappropriate. Included champagne and chocolate were never provided. One of tour leaders recognized the swift walking issue and slowed down the walk back to the bus.
