“We verlaten Puerto Viejo om 7u45 en rijden ongeveer 30 minuten naar het Bribri Indigenous Reserve. Daar ontmoeten we een inheemse familie die hun cultuur, tradities en voorouderlijke kennis van medicinale planten zal delen. Deelnemers verkennen een permacultuurtuin, proeven vers cacaofruit en nemen deel aan het proces van het maken van traditionele chocolade. In de meeste gevallen zal je Gids een native Bribri Gids van de Duriwak Bribri clan zijn. Op de terugweg stoppen we bij een prachtige waterval in de bergen van Talamanca, waar gasten kunnen genieten van een verfrissende duik in het natuurlijke zwembad onder de watervallen. Na deze ontspannende pauze keren we terug naar Puerto Viejo.” Heel erg bedankt.

De bezoeker zal bij een inheemse familie zijn, een deel van de inheemse geschiedenis beluisteren, kijken en uitleg krijgen over de geneeskrachtige planten, een cacaovrucht proeven en tot slot chocolade maken.
De klanten zullen de waterval bezoeken, zwemmen en daar fruit eten.

Great outdoor experience with insight into a different perspective. Chocolate experience and waterfall were very pleasant.
Braulio, along with the Bribri family at the reservation were so kind to show us the rich history and technique of chocolate making as well as knowledge of medicinal herbs. This tour made me appreciate this country so much more. I recommend 100%! Pura Vida!

Braulio was so awesome! Very patient and knowledgeable as he explained so much about the area. The Bribri experience was so essential if you are visiting the area, and being able to tour the reserve, make cacao paste, learn some indigenous history/Bribri phrases AND see a gorgeous waterfall off the beaten path was more than worth it. Highly recommend if in the area and have the day to spend!

Everything was perfect. Received a great overview of the culture, people and their land before making chocolate. Lunch was tasty and they accommodated my GF request. Waterfall was superb. Was not rushed. Dropped off at hotel around 5pm so longer than advertised time which I was fine with!
