Het doel van een dagtrip naar Bratislava vanuit Wenen met de bus met lunch is om je de prachtige bezienswaardigheden van Bratislava te laten zien en het historische stadscentrum te bezoeken tijdens een begeleide stadstour.Dit is een korte maar leerzame wandeltocht die je de meest historische en belangrijke bezienswaardigheden van Bratislava laat zien stad. De opera, het oude stadhuis, de Michaelspoort en de unieke Sint-Maartenskathedraal bevinden zich in het hart van de hoofdstad van Slowakije. Van de glamoureuze dagen dat Bratislava een hoofdstad was van het Hongaarse deel van het Habsburgse rijk, tot de donkerste tijden van oorlog, toen het district Petrzalka van Bratislava deel uitmaakte van het Derde Rijk, is Bratislava nog steeds een van de gezelligste steden ter wereld.

Vertrek vanaf Wenen Hauptbanhof busstation, Südtiroler Platz, bushalte C1. De bus vertrekt om 09:50 uur. Houd er rekening mee dat het traject van Wenen naar Bratislava zonder begeleiding verloopt. U ontvangt 7 dagen voor de tour het buskaartje op uw e-mail. Bussen naar Bratislava worden aangeboden door SLOVAK LINES. Gelieve vriendelijk op tijd op het busstation. Neem uw identiteitsbewijs (EU) of paspoort (geen EUR-burgers) mee. Aankomst op Bratislava Most SNP busstation om 11 : 20 uur. Eerste bushalte in Bratislava.
Om 11 : 20 uur geplande aankomst in Bratislava Most SNP bushalte, de allereerste bushalte in Bratislava. De bushalte bevindt zich onder de brug. Vrije tijd in Bratislava voor koffie of thee. Ontmoeting met de Gids om 12:00 uur voor de hoofdingang van Park Pension by Radisson Danube Hotel (hotel ligt op slechts 100 meter van bushalte, u steekt gewoon een zebraoversteek over).
Om 12.00 uur begint uw wandeltocht door Bratislava. Tijdens deze 1 uur durende rondleiding ontdekt u de hoogtepunten van de oude binnenstad van Bratislava, waaronder de Sint-Martinuskathedraal, de Academie Istropolitana, het Slowaakse Nationale Theater (Operahuis), het Primatenpaleis, het voormalige Hongaarse parlementsgebouw, de Sint-Michielspoort en vele andere historische bezienswaardigheden.
Om 13:00 uur eindigt de wandeltocht in een plaatselijk restaurant, waar u kunt genieten van een traditionele tweegangen Slowaakse lunch. Op het menu staat kippenbouillon gevolgd door het Slowaakse nationale gerecht, **Bryndzové Halušky** – traditionele Slowaakse aardappelbollen geserveerd met romige schapenkaas (*bryndza*) en belegd met knapperig spek. Een vegetarisch alternatief is beschikbaar op aanvraag. Als je dieetvoorkeuren, allergieën of voedselbeperkingen hebt, laat het ons dan van tevoren weten.
Geniet van wat vrije tijd om Bratislava in uw eigen tempo te verkennen. We raden u aan om naar het kasteel van Bratislava te lopen, waar u kunt genieten van een spectaculair panoramisch uitzicht over de stad en de Donau. U kunt ook een bezoek brengen aan de uitkijktoren van het oude stadhuis, een van de oudste gebouwen in Bratislava, met een ander uniek perspectief op het historische stadscentrum. Om uw bezoek nog memorabeler te maken, raden we u aan een traditionele Slowaakse wijnproeverij of een heerlijke taartproeverij aan uw boeking toe te voegen.
De bus van Slovak Lines vertrekt om 18.00 uur vanaf dezelfde bushalte waar u in Bratislava bent aangekomen. De reis naar Wenen duurt ongeveer 90 minuten. De bus komt aan bij Vienna Hauptbahnhof busstation. Einde diensten.

Very unaccomodating when I was late and missed the bus because they had not sent me the QR code, or made it very hard to find blaming me that it was sent. Ending up missing the whole tour and all they did was just blame me offering no help or solutions. Very poor customer service.
Dear Dominique, We sent you proof of the fact we sent you the bus tickets. We are very sorry you missed the bus, but this is beyond our control. Our guide waited you for more than 40 minutes. Also we have provided you the lunch, although as you had been non show, you did not have a right on it.
This tour was a great value for an introduction to Bratislava. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and helped us to get our bearings, the bus was clean and air conditioned, and lunch was delicious!
It was a nice and interesting day excursion to Bratislava from Vienna. Bratislava is definitely another hidden gem in Central Europe. Our tour guide, Daria, was well-informed and provided funny straightforward and intriguing explanations pertaining to various historical and cultural sites. The halušky were spectacular, soft, cheesy and flavorful from the slightly smoked bacon. I would highly recommend this brief day tour in the capital of Slovakia.

The guide focused his explanation on churches. The tour of the old city was very quick, with little explanation, and it left me wanting more. The lunch was of the worst quality.

Entendemos que la gastronomía local puede no ser del gusto de todos, pero se trata de una comida típica de Eslovaquia que forma parte de la experiencia cultural. Respecto a la guía, la excursión reservada era una tour en inglés, por lo que la explicación se realizó en ese idioma conforme a lo contratado. Lamentamos que el ritmo del paseo por el casco antiguo y el contenido de la explicación no hayan cumplido completamente sus expectativas. The tour is too short, an hour only. One has to take the bus going and coming back near the Vienna main train station; tickets included.

Wonderful trip. We met the guide in Bratislava, which seemed strange but was easy to navigate. Erica was a lovely guide. The city was wonderful, lovely to walk around. Lunch was good. Lovely day.

The free time is sufficient to appreciate Bratislava. The guided tour in French was interesting and our guide very friendly.

Make sure you leave the bus at the stop under the bridge. The Park Inn hotel was visible but there is another further stop that the bus makes. The meeting place location was perfect for toilets. Our guide Elka was lovely, very solicitors and knowledgeable. Only 8 people on our tour so able to hear Elka perfectly.
