U passeert het presidentieel paleis, vaart door de elegante functionalistische villa's van Palisády en bezoekt het keizerlijke kasteel Bratislava - de meest herkenbare bezienswaardigheid van de stad - met een prachtig uitzicht over de Donau en het Slowaakse parlement. Our guide Daria provided us with a comprehensive overview of the history and culture of Bratislava. She tailored the tour to our interests. She was extremely knowledgeable and addressed any questions we had. Daria was very personable and spoke English fluently.

This tour was supposed to be private car tour. But after one hour it turned out to be marathon walking. Guide was good but Viator didn't represent that one hour will be by car and two hours by foot. Who will pay bovet Euro 200 just for couple of miles drive in a car and walking tour? I could have easily taken s walking tour costing less than Euro 15. What's worse, driver didn't pick up from the hotel and I had to walk about 500 meters. It would be silly to pay Euro 200 for such poor service. Nothing was good except the guide. I strongly recommend to be careful with Viator in booking tours. Since everything is done online, it was their duty to be absolutely clear. I would certainly have not taken this tour if it involved two hours walking.
Dear client. Bratislava Grand City Tour as we advertise consist of 1 hour city tour of Bratislava by car and 2 hours walking tour!! The Bratislava City Center is pedestrian zone. In Bratislava there is not possible to have 3 hours. We are absolutely clear, the tour consist of 2 hour walking tour + 1 hour by car panorama tour
I'm truly sorry that by this point (I'm writing the review a week after the tour) I've forgotten our guide's name, but she was very polite and did a magnificent job taking us around the city in a matter of three hours. The tour is perfect for a person who has a day to take in Bratislava before moving on to other European capitals on the Danube.
not much to see in Bratislava , lots of history with soviet occupation. Tour guide was nice, just not a lot of sites that are Wow! you can gain all by an audio tour with headsets
Bratislava actually has a lot to offer beyond the Soviet-era history. For more than 250 years it was the capital of the Hungarian Kingdom, where 11 kings and 8 queens were crowned. The city combines Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance architecture with fascinating stories you simply won’t get from an audio guide. While headsets can provide facts, exploring with a local guide gives you a much deeper and more authentic experience.
We had the most fantastic tour with Maria today in Bratislava. Her knowledge and passion for her city is beyond compare. If you want to learn something about this city, book this tour with Maria!!

What a wonderful tour we had with Daria and our driver Samuel. Daria was so kind and knowledgeable; my family learned so much more about Bratislava and had a much richer experience on our day trip from Vienna because of her. She was very flexible and accommodating too: it was very, very hot during our tour (96 degrees F) and when we asked her if we could take a break during the walking portion to cool off, she immediately found a cafe where we could get some water and a snack and gave us plenty of time to cool down. Thank you Daria, we will always remember your kindness!

It was a good overview of the city, combining a car ride for an hour and the rest of the time was walking. The guide was lovely and gave us a lot of personal insights. It is a very interesting city to walk around so this tour is very worthwhile.

Great tour. First hour driven around to sights further out of town. And the last 2 hours walking around the city. A great overview of Bratislava.
