Bratislava 2 uur wandeltour met bierproeven

Beschrijving

We booked this tour as we were doing a day trip to Bratislava from Vienna. We went on a Saturday so wanted our time to be well spent in a new place. The tour started exactly at 12pm, so please don't worry if you get there early and the guide isn't there. I called the contact number provided as I was worried I wasn't in the right place, and the lovely lady on the other end reassured me I was and would get in touch with the guide. We were then greeted by the wonderful Maria. She was extremely knowledgeable of Bratislava and was able to provide facts about a variety of subjects and was able to answer any questions we had. We were very fortunate that this tour ended up being a private tour as no one else turned up. The beer tasting was okay. From previous tastings, there is usually a guide who can tell you about the drink and what to look out for etc, however, we were told to find our own seat & then a server provided 3 beers and that was it. The beer was really good, (coming from a non beer drinker), however, as a beer tasting experience, it was no different to ordering 3 beers at the bar. Overall, I would recommend this tour as it's a really nice way to see Bratislava, and you have a 'reward' after walking for 2 hours in the sun.
Dear client, Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your tour with Maria in Bratislava. It sounds like she made your visit memorable with her extensive knowledge and ability to answer all your questions. We apologize if the beer tasting didn't meet your expectations regarding the guidance typically provided during tastings. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we'll take it into consideration to improve our offerings. It's great to know that despite this, you still found the tour enjoyable and would recommend it as a delightful way to explore Bratislava, especially after a rewarding two-hour walk. We hope to welcome you back on another adventure soon! Best regards, Bratislava City Tours
The Bratislava tour was very well organized, clear, easy to navigate. The guide was great! We thought everything was very well priced, including the beers.

First of all, we wish to make a point with our tourist guide, Ingrid was really astononishig lady with a great knowlidge. However, the biggest surprise to us was the public transport to Bratislava and vice-versa. We do traval a lot, and there always was a mini bus or a van for a one-day tour sightseeing of some city or reggion. Further more, the bus was a little bit late in both direction, with no ecxuses. Although it was underlined that we must come at least half an hour before departure. Also, it was mantioned twice that there is no guide in a bus, and we did askk ourselves why that is so omportnant. It would be more usefull to say to your clients that they will travel by a local trnaport from Vienna to Bratislava and back. We have never travelled by public transport to a touristic destination, incredible. About the lunch that we booked it was a preordered, so we should eat what was given to us, unbelievible. It woul be much better that lunch was connected to beer tasting at the same local restaurant.
Dear client, Everywhere is written that the tour from Vienna to Bratislava and back is unaccompanied and it is travel by public bus. Also that the lunch is 2 course daily menu. If you wanted more customized tour you should book a Private One day trip from Vienna to Bratislava, which is also of higher price. This tour is a low budget day trip from Vienna to Bratislava.
Milan was the name of our guide. An "elder gentleman" who loves his city, spoke very good German and guided us through the city of Bratislava with a lot of wit. In the brewery he told us about the brewing art of the past year exchanges and in particular thech and Slovak. My daughter and I enjoyed it very much. I could add a few anecdotes about the German art of brewing. It was a nice evening.
many thanks for your kind feedback, we have passed it to our beer guide Mr. Milan.
