Ga op een onvergetelijke begeleide dagtocht vanuit Porto in een comfortabel busje met airconditioning naar twee van de meest historische steden van Portugal — Braga en Guimarães. Begin uw reis met een hotel pick-up en ga naar Bom Jesus Sanctuary, bewonder de iconische barokke trap en een panoramisch uitzicht. Verken de kathedraal van Braga, de oudste van Portugal, met exclusieve toegang tot de kapellen en het hoogkoor. Geniet van een traditionele maaltijd in een lokaal restaurant in combinatie met de beroemde Vinho Verde-wijn uit de regio. Stap terug in de tijd met een rustige wandeling door deze betoverende middeleeuwse stad. Bezoek het legendarische kasteel Guimarães, waar Portugal werd geboren, en verken het Paleis van de Hertogen, waar de pracht van het koninklijk leven wordt getoond. We beginnen onze tour op de top van de berg en bezoeken het mooiste heiligdom van Portugal en zijn magische trap.
Bekend om de stad van de aartsbisschoppen, waar we het historische centrum bezoeken, het interieur van de kathedraal bezoeken. We hebben exclusieve toegang tot het interieur van de kapellen en het hoge koor van het monument.
Stop voor een heerlijke lunch in het Diana Restaurant waar de intense smaken van de noordelijke keuken van Portugal gecombineerd worden met de Vinho Verde (Groene Wijn).

Aan het einde van de dag nodigen we onze bezoekers uit om de romantische middeleeuwse stad van het historische centrum van Guimarães te ontdekken. We slenteren door de smalle oude straatjes van de stad en de mogelijkheid om souvenirs te kopen.

Our tour guide Sergio was awesome. He picked us up on time. Our group was very small and I loved that. He is a very good historian. We spent plenty of time at each place, learning and taking in the beauty of each place. I conquered walking up the steps, which was worth it. There’s a fountain at each level and small cathedrals. I love learning the history and beauty of this place.

We learned a lot about the history of Portugal and the area. Our guide, Jorge, was really experienced and knowledgeable, he was patient and kind. There’s walking involved, but with that comes beautiful views and a delicious lunch!

Very good trip. Our guide was perfect. It was over 100 degrees today and he made sure we stayed in shade as much as possible. Very informative. Lunch was very good also

Nuno was hands down one of the best guides we could have ever asked for. He was incredibly knowledgeable on our day trip to Braga and Guimares. We went to several churches and had a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. We learned more about the Catholic faith which in turn has strengthened our faith. Couldn’t have asked for a better day!

This tour was amazing! Our guide, Jorge, picked us up on time and drove us first to Braga where we did some sightseeing and had a fabulous lunch. From there we went to Guimaraes for more sightseeing and had a little extra time to explore the old town. Jorge was very knowledgeable, providing us with the history about each place we visited. I highly recommend this tour, especially with Jorge! You will love these two cities!

This was an amazing tour. Miguel was so knowledgeable about the history of Braga and Guimeres and took us to some stunning churches and castles. We have a fantastic lunch at Maria's restaurant. I would highly recommend this tour.
