U kunt een dugout kanotocht maken, en voor degenen die meer avontuur zoeken, voel je vrij om te zwemmen voor een verfrissende ervaring! "Houd er rekening mee dat tijdens de zomer, tussen november en maart, de Boti Falls kunnen opdrogen als gevolg van beperkte regenval. Er zijn echter andere alternatieven om te bezoeken, zoals Adom Falls of Oboadaka Falls, die ook in het gebied liggen. Dank je wel. " 2. ** Botanische tuinen van Aburi**: Deze populaire plek is gevuld met vogels en vlinders. We hebben een rondleiding waar je meer te weten komt over de geschiedenis van lokale bomen en plantensoorten. Boti Falls is een tweelingwaterval in Boti in de oostelijke regio van Ghana. Bij Boti Falls dalen we de 250 treden af om de dubbele watervallen te bezoeken. Hier ontspannen we aan de oever van de watervallen met hapjes en koude dranken, maken we een kanotocht en wie meer avontuur zoekt, kan in de watervallen zwemmen voor geweldige verfrissende momenten.
We bezoeken de Aburi Botanical Gardens, een populaire plek met vogels en vlinders. Hier zullen we een rondleiding krijgen waarbij we de geschiedenis en de lokale bomen en plantensoorten leren. Rondleiding door de tuinen om meer te weten te komen over de oorsprong, leeftijd en geneeskrachtige eigenschappen van planten in de tuinen. De hoofdingang verwelkomt met de palmenwandeling bestaande uit een laan met elegante palmbomen het Bush-huis, de rotstuin, De Pergola of Lovers lane, De ficusboom, De gepensioneerde helikopter School voor tuinbouw.
Paraplurots (wandeling van 45 minuten). Men kan ervoor kiezen om door het bos te lopen naar de rots en de driekoppige palmboom of de gemakkelijke weg met een auto te nemen.
Driekoppige palmboom bij Boti valt in de oostelijke regio van Ghana. Verrassend genoeg dragen de koppen elk jaar om beurten vruchten. Je zult nergens twee hoofdpalmen vinden lol .. mysterie van de wereld
Heb je je ooit afgevraagd waar chocolade vandaan komt? Nou, we nemen je mee naar het allereerste begin van chocolade - de cacaoboom. Op de Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm leer je een beetje over de geschiedenis van cacao in Ghana. Op de cacaoboerderij leren we over de eerste cacaoboerderij in Ghana, de levensduur van cacao en sociaal-economische voordelen voor het land. We krijgen de kans om cacao te proeven en een idee te krijgen van hoe natuurlijke cacao is.

Daniel was an excellent tour guide. Friendly, prompt, and excellent communications from him and the company. The stops at Boti Falls, Umbrella, Rock, the botanical gardens and the Coco factory were all very interesting. Would highly recommend them.

We had a wonderful experience touring Boti Falls, the Botanic Gardens, a cocoa farm, and Umbrella Rock. As a Nigerian couple visiting Ghana, we especially appreciated how Daniel and Lily made the history and culture come alive in a way that felt both engaging and personal. Pkay was an excellent driver and made the journey smooth throughout. The pick up meeting point was at the Accra Mall which was central. The van had air conditioning which is CRUCIAL! We did not make it to Boti Falls as the it is dry season but we went to another waterfall which was quite nice. Umbrella Rock and the three headed palm were fun and we got to see some of the beautiful Ghana countryside. The view from Umbrella Rock was incredible! The highlight was the Tetteh Cocoa Farm for us. Small but mighty in importance for the cocoa industry in Ghana. Be sure to taste the fresh cocoa seeds! Wow! The Aburi Botanical Gardens were nice with some very interesting flora for all to enjoy.

We enjoyed our tour. We able see a lot of interesting things and for the most part, the trip was what we hoped for. It was a very warm, humid day, but overall our guides, both named Daniel, were very attentive. Unfortunately, our driver D-1 was late. I understand traffic is an issue, but I think better communication would have alleviated a lot of our initial concerns. Overall, this was a fun and interesting experience, and we would recommend it highly for those of you visiting Ghana for the first time.

It was an excellent trip from going to the Akwaaba canopy walkway and the slave dungeons. I highly recommend this trip when in Ghana.

We loved our experience with our tour guide Daniel. We booked this a day before and they were quick and easy to contact to confirm our address and pick up time. We were well looked after. Daniel was knowledgeable about that areas and the locals and we will be booking again for a different location, next time we are back ☺️

What an awesome day with Jerry Jay! I booked this kind of last minute wanting to see most of the unesco sites and the forest and it was well beyond my expectations. Originally an excuse to get out of Accra and see more, turned into a fun DJ’ed car ride and laughing all day! The forest was beautiful and got try all sorts of local treats (eg cocoa raw) and delicacies. Snacked the whole day at all the sites and by the end felt very informed on Ghana well more than I started (incl. deep on the dove trade)! He got us in front of tons of lines and cheaper prices on things we wanted and really shows Ghana in a incredible light. I encourage even solo travelers like myself (28yo guy from the U.S.) to book it and go! It’s worth it! It was super fun and chill!

Our guide, Daniel & driver, Jerry were great. They both made this personal tour really enjoyable & they were knowledgeable & answered all our questions. The mountains were beautiful, Boti Falls were lush & green although not as full due to lack of rain. Highly recommend this tour.
