Geniet van de perfecte halve dagtour die eindigt met een leuke ontspannende tijd op een prachtig strand. Je krijgt de kans om enkele van de meest historische gebouwen in Kingstown (The Capital City), Fort Charlotte en de Botanische Tuinen te bekijken.

Onze tour begint bij de Kingstown-terminal voor cruiseschepen. We nemen je mee door onze hoofdstad Kingstown. Tijdens het rijden wordt informatie over enkele van de meest historische gebouwen getoond, zoals het Centrale politiebureau, het financiële complex, het Oost-Caribische hooggerechtshof en ook onze cenotaaf.
We zullen door ons drukke marktplein rijden waar veel verkopers en boeren hun lokale producten verkopen.
Als we door onze hoofdstad Kingstown rijden, rijden we in de straat van de kerk of "achterstraat" zoals het lokaal wordt genoemd. Hier wordt u getoond en krijgt u een korte geschiedenis over de Methodistenkerk, evenals de anglicaanse en de rooms-katholieke kerk.
Daarna gaan we verder naar Fort Charlotte. Fort Charlotte is een fort uit het Britse koloniale tijdperk, gebouwd op een heuvel met uitzicht op de haven en een panoramisch uitzicht op de Benedenwoestijnzijde van het eiland, waaronder Kingstown, Young Island, Bequia en ook het beroemde eiland Mustique.
Na onze stop in Fort Charlotte zullen we ons aansluiten bij de Leeward high, die is omgedoopt tot de Nelson Mandela Highway. U passeert het Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, het Victoria Park - een klein stadion dat tijdens het carnavalsseizoen ook wel Carnival City wordt genoemd en dan gaan we naar de botanische tuinen, de oudste tuin van zijn soort. op het westelijk halfrond
Dan naar onze laatste site is aan de loefzijde van St. Vincent en zal het prachtige pittoreske Villa strand zijn. Het heeft ook een geweldig uitzicht op het Young Island Resort, waar Johnny Depp en een aantal van zijn bemanningsleden verbleven terwijl ze The Pirates of the Caribbean filmden. Villa Beach heeft ook leuke bars en restaurants en goede sanitaire voorzieningen. Hier kun je zwemmen / snorkelen dus loop alsjeblieft met je zwemspullen. (Optioneel)

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Zodra u het terminalgebouw verlaat, loopt u rechtdoor richting gate 3. Iemand van ons team zal een bord met ons bedrijfslogo ophangen. Als u geen cruiseschippassagier bent, geef dan de naam en het adres van uw hotel op of neem contact met ons op om het ophalen te bespreken.

Take the botanical gardens tour with Antony when you arrive. He is amazing!
I loved the fact the lady who took us on the tour was early! We left at 0840 to meet her at pick up point and as we were leaving we had a call she was already there! We were due to meet at 0900. There were 3 of us on the route. She explained with humour and detail the history of the island. Drive safely through the narrow and hilly roads of st Vincent. First stop fort Charlotte. Chef the guide explained the history of a place that in parts made me feel uneasy who knows what the settlers did there. On to the botanical gardens which were sadly closed. So the tour changed and we went back to Kingstown explored the market and did a little shopping. Finally to paradise beach club. Could have missed that part to be honest but it was a good tour
Chef was a great your guide. She was very attentive to our wishes. When only 1 person of 6 wanted to go to the beach and only for a few minutes, she was quite willing to switch beaches so that the other 5 of us didn't have to pay for beach access that we wouldn't use. She told us a great deal about the island as she drove those narrow, steep roads so ably.
This was a great tour! Informative and interesting. Our tour guide was really terrific. The booking was changed because they couldn't make our last minute request work, so we reached for the next day via Whatsapp. This was super helpful because we had some othr things scheduled, and the tour company was able to tailor the tour to our needs. They even ended up dropping us off at the ferry terminal instead of back at the hotel which saved us time and a taxi fare.
Had a great tour with Dino yesterday (and with Shef for a short time). Dino"s driving skills (and, in particular, his clutch control up those hills) were brilliant!. Very informative anf enjoyable tour. The only reason we did not award 5 stars is that the beach resort that we visited at the end was ram jammed full. We were happy to stroll on the beach and have a drink in the coffee shop but those wanting a good beach expetience might be disappointed. Maybe find am alternative resort to take your guests if possible?

We had a most enjoyable afternoon with Joel driving and Anthony at Fort Charlotte and a different Anthony in the stunning botanical gardens. Both men were very friendly and very knowledgable. Fabulous views from the fort and interesting history to learn. The gardens have trees from all over the world. There is a breadfruit tree descended from one planted by Captain Bligh. Anthony knew the history of every plant and is clearly a devoted caretaker. We also saw and heard the beautiful local parrot. Interesting afternoon including the drive there and back.

Very pleased with pickup and return to hotel with TopDawg Taxi. Suggest hiring your own private guide at the Gardens. Note that the Gardens does not take credit cards.
