Op slechts 35 km afstand van Dubrovnik (22 mijl) is het Trebinje-gebied in Bosnië een wereld op zich, compleet anders dan het kustgebied van de Dubrovnik Riviera. Kalksteenheuvels, kleine vruchtbare stukken land die de rivierstroom volgen, kuddes schapen en geiten die grazen, en eindeloze velden met wijngaarden zullen onmiddellijk tot je verbeelding spreken. Laat onze ervaren chauffeur-gids je meenemen op een culturele en gastronomische reis waarbij je het land leert kennen via zijn mensen, eten en wijn. Waarom voor ons kiezen? 1. We waren jaren geleden de eerste in Dubrovnik die deze tour deden en sindsdien hebben we honderden soortgelijke tours gedaan 2. We zijn allemaal gediplomeerde en ervaren gidsen/chauffeurs met een breed scala aan onderwerpen die we kunnen bespreken 3. We kennen wijnmakerij-eigenaren, restauranteigenaren en veel lokale mensen persoonlijk en zorgen ervoor dat u een geweldige ervaring heeft zonder zorgen of drukte 4. Onze voertuigen zijn allemaal in goede staat, goed onderhouden, voorzien van airconditioning en verzekerd 5. We houden van ons werk!

We zullen Tvrdos 15ct orthodox klooster bezoeken met hun 17.ct. kelders en we zullen enkele van hun beste witte en rode wijn proeven en inzicht krijgen in het leven van de monniken van vandaag. Lange broek nodig om de kerk binnen te gaan
We stoppen in een kleine familiewijnmakerij waar onze gasten kennis kunnen maken met het leven in Bosnië, de wijnproductie en hun geweldige inheemse wijnvariëteiten kunnen proeven, vergezeld van een snack (vleeswaren, olijven, brood, kaas)
We rijden met de auto door het centrum van Trebinje (mogelijke stop voor een korte wandeling door de oude islamitische casaba en de 19.ct Oostenrijkse markt). We gaan verder naar een familiebedrijf dat bekend staat om hun toewijding aan het maken van wijn, hun vriendelijkheid en gastvrijheid. zal de eigenaren ontmoeten en hun heerlijke producten proeven, 4 verschillende wijnen gecombineerd met zelfgemaakte prosciutto en kaas
We rijden naar de top van de heuvel Hercegovacka Gracanica voor het beste panoramische uitzicht in de regio Trebinje. De gids zal de geografie en multiculturele complexiteit van Bosnië & Herzegovina uitleggen.
We stoppen in een familiebedrijf dat traditionele, binnenlandse Bosnische gerechten serveert. We zullen een 3-gangen lunch hebben, vergezeld van zelfgemaakte wijn en likeuren. U heeft de keuze tussen vlees, vis en vegetarische lunchkaart!

We had an amazing experience with Miho as our guide! He has lots of stories and is so charismatic. The wineries were beautiful and people were so welcoming. This was an unforgettable adventure during our trip to Croatia, and I highly recommend.
We had a wonderful experience with Miho as our guide. His knowledge, professionalism and personality were a delight and added to the experience. The wines we sampled at both wineries were delicious. Miho did a great job explaining the history and engaging us in conversation. Both places were unique and made for a perfect day.
Can’t recommend this trip enough. Felt like we were in an episode of an Anthony Bourdain show eating the freshest food, drinking incredible wine, and accompanied by true locals. Our guide/driver, Miho, made the trip even more memorable with his vast knowledge and camaraderie he brought to our group. 10 out of 10 time
We had a fantastic time with Miho in Bosnia. Seamless pickup in Dubrovnik, 30 minute wait at the border, but still there in an hour at the monastery for our tasting. Not touristy in the afternoon and great wines, reasonable prices. The second place, a family winery, was the highlight of our trip — great wines, just our group of 5 and the winemaker and some family cats and a charcuterie plate for the ages! They were willing to give more of any wine. Bought some here, great prices. Then to a restaurant where Miho organized everything — we did very little, just ate all the meats! We were back in Dubrovnik by 8. This was the shortest and most expensive day trip we took from Dubrovnik all week (where we also went to Montenegro on a full day tour and the peninsula on a full day wine tour). Was it worth it — yes. Was it pricey considering that Bosnia has extremely reasonable prices, especially compared to Dubrovnik? Probably. But we enjoyed it and recommend it for those wanting to experience Bosnia. Thank you to Miho for a great afternoon, great pictures, and great recommendations.

Basically the title, but yeah, where to even start... So let's start with our driver; he was super friendly, told us so much information about both Croatia and Bosnia-Hertzegovina and was overall such a joyous person to be around. The wineries? Simply great; the wines were super tasty and could easily rival Italian or other popular wine countries, the pours were generous (especially in the second winery) and buying bottkes was suprisingly cheap considering how high-quality they were. And the food...next time I need to eat is probably in the next month. So while this is clearly one of the more expensive tours, it's more than worth it! But do remember to bring your passports and switch off roaming.
