Geniet van een bezoek van 2 uur en ontdek verbazingwekkende meesterwerken die de thuisbasis zijn van de Galleria Borghese. Je ontmoet je gids voor de galerij, ontvangt headsets om duidelijk te luisteren en komt binnen met skip-the-line toegangskaarten. Je bezoek begint op de begane grond, waar je de kans krijgt om Bernini's beroemde "Rape of Proserpina" te bezoeken en meer te weten te komen over de Latijnse mythe achter dit verbazingwekkende meesterwerk. Je bezoek gaat verder met het ontdekken van andere beroemde meesterwerken van Bernini, zoals "Apollo & Daphne" en "David". We had a wonderful tour of the Borghese Gallery in Rome today at 3pm with Monique, and she was outstanding. Monique was extremely knowledgeable and shared thoughtfully researched information throughout the visit. She clearly knows the collection and its history in depth, and she made the art and stories come alive without ever feeling overwhelming. She was also kind, patient, and had a great sense of humor that made the whole experience enjoyable and relaxed. The Borghese art collection is stunning. Virginia did an amazing job with making the beautiful pieces come to life through explaining the history and significance. Our kids ranged from 11-13 and Virginia kept them all engaged. It is a special place, including the building itself and the surrounding grounds. Would highly recommend!

This was fantastic. We ended up as the only people on the tour and the he guide was incredible. It was like a 301 level college art history course complete with riveting storytelling and priceless artworks. Strongly recommend.

Fantastic experiment with our guide. She knew everything about the history of the paintings and sculptures in the gallery and it really helped to greatly enhance our experience. You could tell she enjoyed her job as she’s been a guide for 18+ years and has an art history background so we were in good hands. And better, I lucked out on being in a small group of 5 so we were able to maneuver around the gallery with ease and got any and all questions answered. Easy 5 stars from me!
