Geniet van een bezoek van 2 uur en ontdek verbazingwekkende meesterwerken die de thuisbasis zijn van de Galleria Borghese. Je ontmoet je gids voor de galerij, ontvangt headsets om duidelijk te luisteren en komt binnen met skip-the-line toegangskaarten. Je bezoek begint op de begane grond, waar je de kans krijgt om Bernini's beroemde "Rape of Proserpina" te bezoeken en meer te weten te komen over de Latijnse mythe achter dit verbazingwekkende meesterwerk. Je bezoek gaat verder met het ontdekken van andere beroemde meesterwerken van Bernini, zoals "Apollo & Daphne" en "David". Je reis gaat dan verder naar de eerste verdieping waar je gids je veelgeprezen schilderijen van Raphael en Caravaggio laat zien, zoals de "Jonge zieke Bacchus" en "Jongen met een fruitmand". Niet alleen zullen de beelden en schilderijen je verbazen, maar de galerij zelf is prachtig versierd met gouden kroonlijsten en fresco's die de plafonds volledig bedekken.

Fantastic experiment with our guide. She knew everything about the history of the paintings and sculptures in the gallery and it really helped to greatly enhance our experience. You could tell she enjoyed her job as she’s been a guide for 18+ years and has an art history background so we were in good hands. And better, I lucked out on being in a small group of 5 so we were able to maneuver around the gallery with ease and got any and all questions answered. Easy 5 stars from me!

Our tour guide was Sabrina and she was so knowledgeable of the art in the museum. As an art teacher, I was familiar with the art but still she still had information about it that I didn’t know. However, my husband said he learned to much and was so impressed with everything he learned. Highly recommend!!

Our fault, but the instructions weren’t specific enough as to where the Gallery was. We entered at the far north end and it was a15 minute walk traversing the beautiful gardens to get to the far south end where the Gallery was. We almost missed our tour.
