Bij aankomst heeft u ongeveer 3 uur vrije tijd om het eiland in uw eigen tempo te ontdekken: ✦ Architectonische bezienswaardigheden : Loop langs de waterkant om de Symi Clock Tower en de "vrede" beelden van de sponsduikers te zien. ✦ Lokale cultuur: Bezoek de beroemde sponsworkshops om meer te weten te komen over Symi's diepzeeduikgeschiedenis en koop authentieke zeesponzen. ✦ Gastronomie : We raden u ten zeerste aan de beroemde "Symi Garnalen" (Simiako Garidaki) te proberen in een taverna aan zee. Deze kleine, knapperige garnalen zijn een lokale delicatesse die in zijn geheel wordt gegeten. ✦ De Bovenstad (Chorio) : Als je je actief voelt, beklim dan de Kali Strata (500 stenen treden) om het bovenste dorp te bereiken voor het beste panoramische uitzicht in de Dodekanesos.
Op weg naar Symi bezoeken we de legendarische St. George’s Bay. Dit afgelegen paradijs is beroemd om zijn 300 - meter verticale kliffen die het turquoise water afschermen van de wind. ✦ Wat te doen : We laten het anker vallen, waardoor u direct vanaf de boot in de kristalheldere zee kunt springen. ✦ Snorkelen : Het water is ongelooflijk transparant, waardoor het de eerste plek is om te snorkelen en onderwaterfotografie. ✦ Wij bieden gratis snorkeluitrusting en drijvende noedels, zodat u de onderwater schoonheid kunt verkennen.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Wij bieden pick-ups van alle hotels in Rhodos eiland. Transferservice is beschikbaar tegen een kleine extra toeslag, die afhankelijk is van hoe ver uw hotel zich bevindt (zichtbaar tijdens het afrekenen). Het omvat beide manieren : pick-up van uw hotel, en na de reis drop off terug. Selecteer tijdens het boeken een optie die het gebied dekt waar uw hotel zich bevindt. Bijvoorbeeld : als u in Faliraki verblijft, selecteert u de optie "Ophalen : Faliraki, Ialyssos". ❓ Wat als mijn hotel niet op de lijst staat? Geen zorgen! We halen op van bijna overal in Rhodos. Als u uw hotel niet ziet in het dropdown menu, heeft u twee eenvoudige opties : ● Tijdens het boeken : Typ gewoon uw hotelnaam in het veld "Speciale wensen". (Parkeren & tips) Als u in Rhodos verblijft of een huurauto heeft, kunt u ons rechtstreeks op ons kantoor ontmoeten op 09 : 15 - 09 : 30 AM. ● Belangrijke opmerking over parkeren : Houd er rekening mee dat parkeren in Rhodos-stad in de buurt van de haven erg uitdagend kan zijn, vooral tijdens de zomermaanden. ● De "1 - Uur Regel" : Als u ervoor kiest om te rijden, raden wij u ten zeerste aan minstens een uur eerder aanwezig te zijn om een parkeerplaats te zoeken. ● Betaald parkeren : De meeste plekken in de buurt van de haven zijn betaalde zones en lopen snel vol. ● Onze aanbeveling : Om de "parkeerhoofdpijn" te vermijden en een stressvrije start van uw vakantie te garanderen, raden we u ten zeerste aan een transfer bij ons te boeken. Good communication and service, excellent day out!
Really good day trip. Lovely bus picked us up, boat had a bar with shade and sun. Several hours to wonder round beautiful Symi. Good communication throughout booking.
Great trip, definitely worth doing. Would have preferred the swim on the way home. Really nice bus picked us up from hotel, bar on the boat, and several hours to wonder round symi.
Negatives: Hotel pick up was not from the hotel. We were asked to walk to the nearest bus stop which was a 10 minute walk. Not an ideal way to start the trip in the summer heat. The boat (Zeus D) was packed and the seats were not very comfortable for what turned out to be a 2 hour journey to St Georges Bay. There was no information in the advert about how long this was and a bit of a shock. Minor point 1 hour swimming was actually only 50mins and 3 hours free time was only 2hrs 40 by the time you got off the boat. Also not enough floats or any snorkel equipment provided. Positives: Symi is lovely! The restaurant recommended was super St Georges Bay is very pretty. The staff were great particularly those in the office and running the transfers. The facilities on board the boat are ample Would go to Symi again but on the fast boat!
We sailed on the Discovery, a beautiful boat plenty of room and air con inside which is very much appreciated on the way back from Symi. The bar is very well stocked with drinks and snacks including sandwiches and toasties. The staff were great and worked hard to make it and enjoyable trip for all. My only negative would be that more time in St George’s bay would be better and the stop there after Symi instead of before would make more sense as the town is stifling hot. But I would still highly recommend this trip.
I think if I was to re-book this trip I'd probably go with a fast boat as the journey was very long and there also wasn't really enough room for everyone. We were picked up by the transfer service promptly, everyone was really friendly and we got to the ferry 30 mins before it was due to leave and only just managed to get a seat on the top deck. I would also note the shop on the ferry only takes cash so make sure you have some if you're wanting to purchase anything. Symi itself was incredible - I think 3 hours there was a good amount of time.
We had a smooth booking with half price tours. The agent was courteous and helpful. We were picked up from the hotel and taken directly to Rhodes town centre. The sail across to Symi was lovely. The boat didn't leak ... lol, so we floated along nicely. SYMI is picturesque. A place to walk, shop chill a day relax. It was worth the visit.
St. George’s bay was beautiful and lots of fun. Symi island and town with its unique architecture felt like I was really on the other side of the world. We loved it
Great value for money (also compared to other providers). I would like to highlight the really VERY friendly and uncomplicated contact via WhatsApp. For example, with a reminder one day before the tour. The driver was very punctual and also friendly. The departure times (and stops) of the ship were consistently punctual as stated. On the ship, you could buy snacks and drinks (at what I consider to be very reasonable prices). The bay is crystal clear and beautiful. The island of Symi is also very picturesque and lovely. It is true, the crossing can take a bit of time, but it does not last longer than stated and has its beautiful aspects (don't forget sun protection and turn off roaming, as otherwise high fees may apply!). I felt well taken care of all around. Thank you very much🌞👍
