Na het ontschepen van het schip wachten we je op bij de cruiseterminal, bij gate 5 van de haven van Messina, waar ik je zal opwachten met een bordje met je naam en achternaam. Vanaf hier beginnen we onze reis naar Isola Bella en de baai van Taormina waar je boottocht zal beginnen.
De boottocht begint in een van de mooiste natuurgebieden die Sicilië ooit heeft gezien. Het is een zeepark met kristalhelder water waar de beroemde Blauwe Grot van Taormina ligt. Isola Bella herbergt een prachtige tropische/mediterrane tuin, een villa en een mooi zwembad met uitzicht op de wateren van het mariene park. De tour omvat ook een bezoek aan de Sant'Andrea grot, een bezoek aan alle vier de baaien van Giardini Naxos tot de baai van de Sirenen, de Faraglione en Capotaormina. Het is op deze laatste locatie dat we zullen stoppen voor een duik en verfrissingen van prosecco, water en amandelgebak.
De laatste stop op onze tour is Taormina. We komen aan op Piazza San Pancrazio, waar de reizigers hun ronde zullen maken en de karakteristieke smalle straatjes van Corso Umberto kunnen bezoeken, het prachtige landschap kunnen bewonderen en naar het Grieks-Romeinse theater van Taormina kunnen gaan (de kosten van het entreeticket zijn niet inbegrepen in de tourprijs).
Als onze tour voorbij is, keren we terug naar ons vertrekpunt bij de terminal van het cruiseschip.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Bij aankomst in de haven van Messina worden reizigers opgewacht bij Gate 5. Eén van onze chauffeurs zal hen verwelkomen met een bord met hun naam erop. De begin- en eindtijden van de tour moeten minimaal 24 uur van tevoren worden overeengekomen op basis van de aankomst- en vertrektijden van het cruiseschip.

This was a wonderful day spent with family. Alessandro and Marisa were wonderful guides and Marisa’s English was great and easy for all to understand. We had 3 kids ages 16,8,9 and they were wonderful and patient with them. It was easy to find them in the port of Catania after existing our cruise ship. A comfy, air conditioned van ride with information to Taormina, then Marisa walked the city with us, told us about the shops and local customs, took pictures and gave us history about the city and garden she took us to visit. We had a nice lunch and then went to the boat tour where they even let my boys drive the boat. We were then able to swim in the clear blue water have snacks and Prosecco. They had us back to the ship on time and I highly recommend this private tour, especially for families. TYSM!!
Our family of 5 spent the day with Alessandro and Hana and they were amazing!!! Great communication to get to the pick up point and right on time!! Very organized tour of Taormina and the restaurant recommendation was amazing (and Hana was able to get the restaurant to open early just for us!!!) Then the boat was super fun with a lot of amazing history and great sights to see, with a wonderful family swim. Highly recommend Alessandro and Hana for your excursion!!!

The tour was a perfect blend of land and sea. Skillful driver, clean van. During our time on the boat we enjoyed breathtaking sights, time to swim and snorkel, and Prosecco with fruit platter. Our tour guide spoke excellent English and was both knowledgeable and helpful. She recommended a fantastic local restaurant.

From the start it was amazing. Alessandro was so good at communicating with us prior to our arrival in the port and so helpful in getting us back to our boat in time. Our guides were early and told us so much. We had Alessandro and Marissa and they were amazing! They told us fun facts all the way to the boat and once we were on the boat the fun continued. We saw so many caves and got to jump off the boat and it felt like a party. They were so helpful with taking photos of all of us. Our guides were dancing and singing with us and we got to do karaoke in the van on the way to town. Marissa was so helpful when exploring because she asked what we wanted to see and found a perfect spot for each of us. They also took us to see the clock tower and told so many facts about it. Overall, I would highly recommend this experience because it was one of the best days we had on our cruise!
Max (driver) and Hannah (tour guide) were both incredible from before the tour started. When I received my confirmation the day before I noticed, I had made a mistake in booking and Max was extremely accommodating in getting us booked for what we had wanted (the boat tour). He was very clear about the time and location of the pick up, which made finding him when getting off the cruise ship very easy and stress free. His van was spacious and extremely comfortable. He even had water for us. Hannah was very knowledgeable about every place we visited, made sure to take lots of family photos and was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend this tour! It was probably our favorite thing we did during our cruise.
We had the most amazing time on our boat and land tour of Taormina, Sicily! It was the perfect way to experience the beauty of the area — seeing the coastline from the water was absolutely breathtaking, and exploring Taormina on land was just as magical. A special thank you to our wonderful tour guides, Alessandro and Marisa, who made the experience even more memorable. Marisa was incredibly knowledgeable, shared so many interesting details about Sicily, and was especially wonderful with our daughter. Her kindness and patience made the tour so enjoyable for our whole family. They also arranged for a special birthday surprise for my 40th! Cake, Prosecco and fresh fruit! The views, the charm of Taormina, and the unforgettable scenery made this one of the highlights of our trip. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sicily!
