Deze tour verkent de schatten van Ireland's Eye, Howth Harbour and Cliffs en Dublin Bay. Maak een reis rond Ireland's Eye en geniet van een spectaculair uitzicht op het eiland, de Martello Tower en de kolonie zeehonden en vogels, waaronder papegaaiduikers en zeekoeten, die het gebied in de Dublin Bay Biosphere bewonen. Ons team zal u ontmoeten op de top van het ponton, u inchecken en u een prachtige boottocht bezorgen vanuit de haven van Howth, langs Howth Lighthouse, en op een prachtige rondreis door Ireland's Eye.
Toen we vanaf het ponton de Howth Harbour verlieten, beginnen we ons commentaar op de geschiedenis van Howth Lighthouse, bij de ingang van de haven.
We passeren de baai Balscadden Bay, waar we enkele van de prachtige Howth Cliffs zien, en leren de geschiedenis van Balscadden House en enkele van de beroemde mensen die daar woonden.
Het belangrijkste punt van de tour - Ireland's Eye. Onze tour gaat rond het eiland, met commentaar over alles van de geschiedenis van het eiland, de mysterieuze moord die daar plaatsvond, en de flora en fauna.
De stapel, het oog van Ierland De Stack is een prachtig gezicht, aan de kant van het eiland, waar we veel broedende vogels kunnen zien. Ons commentaar vertelt je alles over het natuurreservaat dat Ireland's Eye is.
Aan de andere kant van het eiland zien we de Martello-toren, gebouwd in 1803 ter verdediging tegen Napoleon.

Great boat trip from Howth. Amazing to see so many coastal birds so close to Dublin. Our captain made an extra effort to make sure we saw some puffins, and we also got to see a grey seal. I would really recommend this to anyone with any interest in sea birds, but also in general just a nice trip to do.

Beware the details -- description said land in the island but itinerary says just cruise around the cliffs. We were a group of 17 who were put on a boat that was too big to land no matter what. We complained constantly and a smaller boat was sent to us that we switched into to land on the island. All was good after that except one of our group didn't make it into the smaller boat and was left alone to do the tour she didn't want to do. It felt like this was a scam to get as many people as possible into the big boat and not have to do the island drop off and collection. This was my third attempt in as many years to land so I was definitely not looking to do the same cliffs again. Id only recommend if this was made clear at bookings and before getting in the boats in future.

I really enjoyed the tour. Our captain was a nice guy. We were a rather small group so it wasn't too crowded. He pointed out the puffin that swam close to the boat. During the tour he played some music and we stayed out longer to enjoy the sunset. Overall a great experience that I can only recommend and that I would do again.
