Deze dagexcursie naar Cleopatra Island biedt vertrekken vanuit hotels in zowel Marmaris als Icmeler. Op weg naar het eiland stop je voor een zwemvakantie in Incekum Bay en in de buurt van het eiland Fenerli. Geniet van de warme turquoise wateren en een prachtig uitzicht op de baai van Gokova. Een heerlijke BBQ-lunch wordt aan boord geserveerd en bestaat uit kip- of vleesballetjes, spaghetti, salade en seizoensfruit. Met 3 uur of meer vrije tijd op Cleopatra Island, kun je ontspannen op het witte zandstrand, een ontspannen wandeling maken door de olijfgaarden en de ruïnes van het Romeinse amfitheater en vestingwerken verkennen. Het zand van het eiland is legendarisch en wordt verondersteld te zijn geïmporteerd door Mark Anthony als een geschenk aan zijn geliefde Cleopatra. Dit unieke zand kan nergens anders ter wereld worden gevonden: de korrels zijn zo klein en glanzend dat het strand op het eiland Cleopatra werd uitgeroepen tot nationaal natuurreservaat. Het is niet toegestaan om zand mee te nemen bij het verlaten van het eiland.

Pick-up van het hotel
Wanneer de tour begint, wordt u eerst door het prachtige natuurlijke landschap van het dorp Çamli gereden, dat op ongeveer 25 km van Marmaris ligt. Na deze korte en comfortabele rit stapt u aan boord van onze prachtige dubbeldekkerboot en begint u uw cruise door de Golf van Gokova.
Marmaris Icmeler Cleopatra Island Boat Trip begint met een bezoek aan het charmante dorpje Çamlı, dat ongeveer 17 km ten noorden van Marmaris stad ligt. U reist in onze ruime en comfortabele minibus en geniet van het prachtige landschap van groene velden en smaragdgroene dennenbossen. Eenmaal aangekomen in Çamlı stappen we aan boord van onze boot en varen we over de Golf van Gokova.
Ons tweede bezoek is aan Ince Kum, een nationaal park dat in deze regio bekend staat om zijn fijne gouden zand en transparante turquoise water. Ince Kum betekent eigenlijk ‘fijn zand’ in het Turks. We nemen onze eerste 40 minuten zwempauze op dit prachtige strand voor u om te snorkelen, zwemmen of gewoon zonnebaden op het strand.
Vervolgens bezoeken we een zeer populaire baai aan de Golf van Gokova, Deep Blue Bay. Het water is hier bijzonder diep, waardoor ze die koningsblauwe tint krijgen, vandaar de naam Deep Blue Bay. Vanwege de diepte en ligging is deze prachtige baai ook een populaire stopplaats voor jachten.
Cleopatra Beach staat onder overheidsbescherming en bezoekers mogen geen zand meenemen. Het is zelfs verboden om je handdoeken uit te spreiden op het strand, omdat het zand eraan blijft plakken. De legende gaat dat het lichtroze zand op dit strand werd gebracht door schepen uit Noord-Afrika om Cleopatra te behagen. Blijkbaar bestaat dit soort zand alleen in Egypte en Marcus Antonius stuurde het hierheen omdat Cleopatra nostalgisch en heimwee had. In het oostelijke deel van dit prachtige eiland bevindt zich een agora waar volgens inscripties sportieve festivals werden georganiseerd.

The trip is amazing and the service is outstanding, especially as a solo traveller. I got picked up from my hotel right on time, great communication and just a brilliant say so far. Absolutely awful boat trip with many hidden extras. The actual boat is terrible, you have to sit on not very comfy chairs, unless you want to try and get a 'sun lounger' upstairs, they are just mats attached to the floor. The smell from downstairs where the toilets are will turn you sick. The food is mediocre at best, and if you wants chips (which most kids do), that's an extra 150 lira each. The soft drinks are all inclusive, but I hope you like coke, fanta or sprite, and I hope you like full fat, the bar is barely open anyway, and even if you do get one it's basically in a shot glass. There is an added charge to enter Cleopatra Island which is £12 each, this is after paying over £30 each for a ticket, and it's advertised as a Cleopatra Island Tour boat, but you get 2 hours on the island and if you go over your time then you have to find your own way back. The Island itself is absolutely beautiful, and the surroundings are spectacular, but you could swim in the sea for a much cheaper price with a different boat excursion. Save your money and book something else, there are many other boat companies who will take you to just as nice of a beach and sea, for a much cheaper price, and they won't charge you for entering a bit of land that for the most part, you can't even walk on. Stay well away from this absolute con and money grabbing excursion!!!!!

Amazing scuba diving guides they were so friendly and accommodating to us and we had a great time. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. Honestly a once in a lifetime experience it was my first time diving and it couldn’t have gone any better!!!

Fantastic excursion to Cleopatra's Island today with 2 very happy teenagers! Not really enough time to do much on the island itself but the 4 swimming stops on the way back really made the trip. Diving into turquoise water is hard to beat! Lovely lunch aswell. Really can't fault anything and the Tourmania team were informative but not over the top.

It was wonderful. The chosen locations was lovely, I liked the cleopatra island itself and blue lagoon but it would be better if it was included in price the entrance ticket to the cleopatra island
Perfect, island was great. Trip was well planned out and had some beautiful stop offs for a good dive and swim from the boat! Would definitely recommend! Yusuf was very helpful with arranging the trip and pick up + all information we asked for. 10/10!

Enjoyed our visit to beautiful Cleopatra Island and stops at other beautiful spots on the return journey for a swim from the moored boat. All the pick up and drop off arrangements were very smooth and well managed. Gafar was very professional and helpful. We were expecting longer at Cleopatra Island ( the description said 4 hours but on the day we were told we had minimum 2 hours). Although we still had enough time to explore the ruins plus enjoy an unrushed swim at the beach, we suggest the description be updated to make the time period clearer.
