Bewonder echte menselijke exemplaren en verken de effecten van geluk op lichaam en ziel. Deze fascinerende nieuwe tentoonstelling van Dr. Gunther von Hagens, centraal gelegen op het Damrak in Amsterdam, toont meer dan 200 anatomische specimens van authentieke menselijke lichamen, allemaal gebruikt om de complexiteit, veerkracht en kwetsbaarheid van de menselijke vorm aan te tonen. BODY WORLDS is geschikt voor volwassenen en kinderen en heeft wereldwijd meer dan 40 miljoen bezoekers getrokken. De enige tentoonstelling in zijn soort die gebruik maakt van een donorprogramma, Body Worlds onderzoekt door middel van wetenschap hoe geluk zowel je lichaam als ziel kan beïnvloeden. Deze tour is slechts een toegangsbewijs, het is exclusief een Gids, maaltijden of vervoer.

Amazing and super interesting place! We spent an hour walking around at our own pace, so much to see and learn about. Definitely a must visit when in Amsterdam as it is a very unique experience! Only downside is that the body scans weren’t working when we went so we were unable to do this.
With a lot of emphasis on human emphasis this place jas made a good effort through real like human models. Must have invested a lot but Its not really for children

It was a great experience, I was a little concerned it may be a bit like a freak show but not at all, very informative and interesting. The whole theme of health and happiness was also nicely done, not too cheesy and it was uplifting. Also thank you to the staff for being really helpful in sorting us out after I made a mistake with the ticket booking.

I saw this exhibit in Las Vegas a few years back and it was fantastic. I expected this one to be “more” being that it was a permanent display. I found it much smaller than expected.

I found Body Worlds really interesting. I learnt a lot about the human body. The scan at the end was excellent.

Super interesting museum! Welcoming staff! Truly an experience to have for those interested in the human body. The visit was made with my nurse cousin and myself; we enjoyed it and spent 2 hours and 15 minutes inside. I highly recommend it++++

Both of the gents at the ticket office were so kind and lovely, we visited from 12pm on 10/06/2026 and they were so welcoming. The exhibits were beautiful and lots of fun, sad there’s not a wee sciencey gift shop as I’d have nerded out!

When we first entered the place seemed small and feared I would be disappointed but this was quickly dispelled. When these real human bodies were originally displayed there was some controversy that it took away human dignity. I found it gave a wonderful insight into the working of the human body and the things diseases did to your body. The process of preserving is fascinating. A great insight into the workings of the human body.
