Sami was our tour guide. he was prompt and on time. our private vehicle was very new, very clean and very nice. we had a driver and a tour guild included. we never spent any time parking or driving randomly around. Sami knew the areas and we were very efficient in seeing the city, visiting restaurants and getting into the castle. he also helped us with local stores and vendors so we could buy nice leather items and watches without getting scammed. he knew the areas well and who to talk to and what to avoid. great day spent and with Sami we were able to use the day to the very fullest.

We choose to hire a guide for the tour company and guide. We did find that there was less to do in Bodrum than other ports. The choice was good to hire a guide and van. I would probably hire for a smaller amount of time. We were able to efficiently see many things rather than sign up on a cruise tour and see one thing. The van was very fancy and fun and the guide was good.

Bodrum was an unexpected surprise. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon seeing the sites of the city. Enjoying the sunshine while sitting and talking to our guide, was lovely as she was full of information. A visit to a local jeweler helped make the tour even more special.
