Boottocht op het eiland Ortigia en zeegrotten
Beschrijving
We vertrekken vanaf de bruggen van Ortigia en varen de "grote haven" van Syracuse binnen, evenals de prachtige boulevard van Alfeo bij Ortigia.We zullen vervolgens de haven uitvaren om rond het eiland te varen en de monumenten langs de kust te bewonderen.We verlaten Ortigia en rijden richting de kust ten noorden van Syracuse om de prachtige zeegrotten te bekijken.We keren dan terug vanuit de "kleine haven" om door het Ortigia-kanaal te varen, dat het eiland van de stad scheidt, en onder de bruggen door te gaan om terug te keren naar het startpunt.Het bezoek is onder begeleiding en omvat een historische en geografische uitleg.Het is ook mogelijk om even te stoppen om te zwemmen.De rondleiding duurt ongeveer 1 uur tot 1 uur en 10 minuten.

Nice tour with the possibility of swimming in a spot where the water is emerald green. The guide was helpful and gave us very useful suggestions for our stay in Syracuse.

A fun and informative trip around the sea caves of Siracuse and Ortegia. Gabriel was a fantastic guide with much enthusiasm and local knowledge. He was helpful and keen to make this a good experience. We jumped off the boat to swim in the sea. You have to be able to get down low, kneeling on the boat floor for 2 mins while going under a low bridge. The meeting point is a street stall 5 mins from the harbour.
It was so wonderful, a one in a lifetime experience. Michele, our captain went above and beyond to make sure we had a full experience. Definitely recommend and definitely will book again when in Syracuse. Troppo bello!!!!
The one-hour boat tour between Ortigia and the sea caves was truly beautiful, but what made it special was the staff. A special thanks goes to Aurora: a very young but super capable girl, who during the tour explained all the main attractions very well with great preparation and friendliness; we really noticed how she loves doing what she does. A note of merit also for the flexibility of the whole team: due to the uncertain weather we asked to postpone the experience to the next day with very little notice, and they were super helpful in accommodating us and rescheduling everything without problems. Very well-deserved five stars! ✨✨🥰
