De ideale tour om veel te weten te komen over de Ria Formosa, en een bezoek te brengen aan het eiland Culatra, een prachtige vissersgemeenschap die het hele jaar door zo'n 1000 mensen bewoont, dat in 2030 een eiland zal zijn dat zijn eigen energie produceert! De huizen zijn typisch en tradities en gebruiken overheersen, een unieke plek in de wereld! Er zijn verschillende infrastructuren en restaurants waar u kunt proeven en genieten van typische gerechten uit traditionele restaurants. Met de mogelijkheid om een tafel te reserveren of een picknick te houden, zijn er verschillende opties om uit te kiezen! Dan zullen we, voor velen, genieten van het beste verlaten strand van de Algarve, dat aan het einde van het eiland Culatra ligt, dat het donkerblauwe van de Atlantische Oceaan en het heldere blauw van de Ria Formosa scheidt, waar u de kans krijgt om te duiken, zwemmen en unieke foto's te maken! Een waar paradijs! Als het buiten het seizoen is, bezoeken we het prachtige Ilha da Armona, waar we rond 1h00 stoppen om het eiland te verkennen!

We had planned to hire a boat for ourselves to drive, and went on this as a reconnaissance tour. We learnt a lot and decided not to hire our own boat! The tour was brilliant and informative and safe.

Excellent boat trip to Culatra and one of the numerous sandbanks for sunbathing and swimming. Our guide and captain was very good and spoke great English, so we were able to appreciate all of the wonders of Ria Formosa. There were only eight of us on the boat so it had a personal touch about it too. Would certainly recommend to other couples in Olhao.
