Volg deze drie uur durende tour en krijg de gelegenheid om de lokale ambachtelijke productie te bezoeken en de lokale bevolking te ontmoeten. Verken de Povoação Velha en voel de vriendelijkheid van hun mensen. Bezoek de grotten van Varandinha. Verken het mooiste strand van de archipel (Santa Monica). Je wordt opgehaald bij je hotel en vertrekt richting Rabil, het tweede meest bevolkte dorp in Boa Vista. Ontmoet de lokale bevolking en bezoek een lokale ambachtelijke productie en waardeer het werk van ambachtslieden die zich toeleggen op het maken van decoratieve stukken met klei uit de Barreiro
Je fietst door de Povoação Velha en bezoekt enkele huizen gebouwd met handgemaakte aarden bakstenen en rieten daken getuigen, sommige nog intact, het was de hoofdstad van het eiland tot 1810.Voor oudere mensen was dit de geschiedenis van Boa Vista geboren, en was de eerste stad die werd bevolkt.
Verder naar Santa Monica, beschouwd als het mooiste strand van de archipel en een van de mooiste stranden ter wereld met zijn 22 km wit woestijnzand, verlaten stranden, fantastisch warm water, puur en kristal
De tour blijft het hele lange strand rijden, zodat je alle schoonheden van het strand kunt waarderen dat eindigt met de adembenemende duinen. Aan de kust met een prachtig panorama en uitzicht, kunt u de grotten van Varandinha bereiken, die op natuurlijke wijze worden gevormd door erosie van de zee in de duinen.
Daarna ga je naar Morro de Area tot je aankomt op de laatste plekken, Chaves beach.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Voor gasten die in Hotel Riu Touareg verblijven is het ophalen en wegbrengen niet bij de tourprijs inbegrepen. Voor het ophalen en afzetten bij Hotel Riu Touareg moet een extra vergoeding worden betaald. Je wordt opgehaald bij de hoofdingang buiten het hotel. Niet bij de receptie, omdat het druk kan zijn.

Very friendly guides, very familiar with the history of their country
It seems the organizers did not pay too much attention to the selected language and most was explained in portuguese. The englisch information was always much shorter and seemed to have less content, which I could confirm during a different tour, during which I visited partially the same spots and got a lot more insights. So, going to the lovely beaches, seeing the landscapes and sitting out in the back of a pickup is a lot of fun. Taking care of guests can be improved.

All I can say is wow. My husband and I were the only two on the tour so it was basically a private tour. Right from the start we knew we were in for a wonderful trip. We saw parts of the island that you wouldn't see if you just took a stroll. We saw some incredible sights, turtles, sharks, sparrow hawks to name just a few. Our guide and driver were so incredibly helpful and generous with their time. We weren't rushed at any point, and the amount of information we were given was amazing. Santa Monica beach is just incredible. Would 100% recommend.
Half day tour booked via TUI. Picked up from hotel and to another hotel for some.more passe gers then off to Rabil. It was lovely seeing parts of the island that I wouldn't have usually seen. Friendly village locals and some great history to be learnt from.thw rep. Once of main roads can be a bit bump, especially when off road going to Santa Monica beach. Lovely experience, bought some gifts from the locals and had a really nice time. 10yr old daughter loved the sandblasting. Nice little bar on Santa Monica beach. Ask TUI to drive you up ther if you're not that into beaches or going in the sea. They will gladly drive you over (cannot walk due to distance/terrain) where you can sit, admire the view and watch the world go by. Bliss.

Impeccable, friendly, efficient staff without exception. Hotel in need of general repairs (Riu Touareg) It's a shame the kilometers of beach have a practically inaccessible sea. Very pleasant animation. Weak drinks (all inclusive)
