Wij halen u op bij uw hotel of accommodatie! Een doorgewinterde lokale Gids haalt je op bij je accommodatie binnen 5 mijl van het stadscentrum (One North Pack Square) of ontmoet je bij het Asheville Visitor Center als je buiten die afstand verblijft. De excursie neemt je mee door een prachtig berglandschap op weg naar drie indrukwekkende watervallen en twee beschermde bossen, evenals een schilderachtige rit over de Blue Ridge Parkway (als het weer het toelaat) om het geweldige uitzicht te ontdekken rondom deze iconische weg die twee nationale parken verbindt. Wij bieden comfortabele zitplaatsen in een geklimatiseerde bestelwagen. Drankjes/hapjes zijn inbegrepen. BELANGRIJK Gasten moeten voorbereid zijn op het wandelen van ongeveer 3 mijl op het wandelgedeelte van deze tour over een periode van 2 uur, inclusief stops bij de watervallen en u moet zich comfortabel voelen bij het lopen van deze afstand voordat u een boeking maakt. De tour is niet geschikt voor kinderen onder de 12 jaar. Om ongeveer 13.30 uur zijn we terug in Asheville.

De tour omvat een rit over de Blue Ridge Parkway, (wanneer geopend), een Amerikaanse schat die bekend staat om zijn landschappelijke schoonheid en opmerkelijke uitzicht op de bergen. (Opmerking: Tijdens de wintermaanden kan de Blue Ridge Parkway gesloten zijn vanwege ijs en sneeuw)
Leun achterover, ontspan en geniet van deze prachtige rit naar onze eerste waterval in Pisgah National Forest voordat u een korte afstand aflegt om nog twee watervallen in een prachtig staatsbos te bezoeken. Onderweg luistert u naar interessante verhalen over de rijke geschiedenis van het gebied dat al generaties lang mensen naar het gebied trekt.
Draag comfortabele schoenen of wandelschoenen voor het ongeveer 3 mijl lange wandelgedeelte van de tour op paden die als gemakkelijk tot matig worden beoordeeld. Er zijn stops onderweg die u tijd geven om te genieten van de watervallen, een hapje en een drankje zijn inbegrepen. Neem een kleine dagrugzak mee als u die hebt. Uw tour eindigt met vervoer terug naar uw hotel, zodat u de rest van de middag op uw gemak kunt doorbrengen.

(veilig / gratis parkeren) OPHAALTIJD ZAL TUSSEN 7 : 45 - 8 : 15 uur, omdat we er op de meeste dagen meerdere moeten inplannen. We halen ook op : Sweet Pea Hostel, Bon Paul & Sharkeys Hostel, gebied Bed & Breakfast / Airbnb / VRBO / locaties binnen 3 mijl van het stadscentrum. We pikken op binnen 3 mijl van het stadscentrum, One North Pack Square Asheville NC 28801. Als u zich buiten dat gebied bevindt kunnen we afspreken op de : Asheville Visitor Center 36 Montford Avenue Asheville NC 28801. Het parkeren is veilig / gratis en we zijn er ook leden.

This tour was everything I wanted to experience for my solo trip to Asheville. Tony IS PHENOMENAL! The history, hiking and waterfalls were incredible! My group was the best! I have never felt so alive! Book this tour and prepare to be amazed at sights and amazing hospitality from Tony!

My husband and I went on the Blue Ridge Highway and Waterfall tour from Asheville NC with our tour guide Tony. Tony is the ultimate tour guide, full of local knowledge and extraordinarily upbeat and energetic. His van is very comfortable and in great condition, and it was a smooth ride all the way. He is extremely focused on his customer’s needs. This tour is an excellent tour for moderate hikers. The 3-mile tour down to the waterfalls was just right for our ability. Tony was with us for every minute of the hike. We were very pleased with the entire experience and are glad that we decided to book this tour rather than do all the driving on single lanes and winding roads on our own. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR!

We’ve been to the Carolina mountains several times, but never had a chance to see the waterfalls. This tour sounded perfect, and it absolutely was better than expected. We were picked up at our hotel by our tour guide, Tony, who I can’t say enough good things about. The van was very comfortable, with big windows for a great view. The waterfalls were amazing!!! Loved each and every stop, the hiking was wonderful & pretty easy. This is a tour iI enjoyed so much, I didn’t want it to end. I HIGHLY recommend!

Our tour guide Tony picked us up & returned us to our hotel, which was so convenient since we did not rent a car. He drove safely and the drive was beautiful! We learned a lot of interesting facts about the mountains and the forests that we visited! Tony took great pics of us as well 🙂 Snacks and water were provided! I hope to do this trip again with my son and husband in the future!

Tony was absolutely amazing and incredibly professional. I decided to take a birthday trip from Texas to Asheville, North Carolina, and wanted to experience the beauty of the mountains.
