Geniet van een leugen terwijl we laat in de ochtend vertrekken uit Sydney, het piekuurverkeer missen zodat we sneller de Blue Mountains kunnen bereiken. Het aanbieden van 4 grote pick-up locaties binnen de CBD van Sydney.
Korte pauze in Glenbrook zodat passagiers een koffiebar kunnen pakken (niet inbegrepen), voordat we de schilderachtige wildernis van de Blue Mountains in gaan.
Onze reis begint met een korte verfrissingsstop in de charmante stadjes Glenbrook of Leura, de toegangspoort tot de Blue Mountains. Deze pittoreske dorpjes zijn karaktervol en bieden een ontspannen, gastvrije sfeer. Gasten kunnen lokale cafés en boetiekjes verkennen en op eigen kosten iets te eten kopen terwijl ze genieten van de historische charme van deze iconische bergsteden.
Vervolgens verkennen we de prachtige Jamison Valley, een belangrijke schilderachtige attractie die bekend staat om zijn adembenemende uitzicht op de vallei en de canyon. We komen van dichtbij bij de iconische zandsteenformatie, de Three Sisters, en wandelen langs indrukwekkende bush trails naar een van de meest ontzagwekkende watervallen van New South Wales. Maak vervolgens een natuurwandeling van 90 minuten naar de voet van de Wentworth Falls – gelijk aan 8 trappen naar beneden en weer omhoog – terwijl je jezelf onderdompelt in de weelderige inheemse bossen en het rustgevende geluid van stromend water.
Daarna gaan we op een schilderachtige bush-verkenning terwijl we op zoek gaan naar kangoeroes in het wild. Veel van de inheemse dieren van Australië zijn het meest actief tijdens de schemeringsuren, waardoor dit de perfecte gelegenheid is om kangoeroes te zien die door de onderstruik springen of in open velden grazen.
Tenslotte bezoeken we Echo Point of Lincoln’s Rock, twee van de meest iconische uitzichtspunten in de Blue Mountains. Hier vestig je je om de zon achter de verre bergen te zien zakken en dramatische schaduwen te werpen over de rotsformaties, eucalyptusbossen en valleien. De panoramische uitzichten zijn gewoon onvergetelijk – een perfecte manier om een dag vol ontdekkingstochten af te sluiten.
Zeg vaarwel aan een dag vol wildernis, dieren in het wild en wonderland terwijl we teruggaan naar Sydney na het bekijken van de zonsondergang over de Blue Mountains.

The tour was engaging overall, but some of the commentary about Aboriginal people felt overly generalised. The guide stated that Aboriginal politicians tend to lean right and that communities prefer to leave Country to be more “progressive,” which didn’t reflect the range of perspectives that exist. Some terminology used (such as “Aborigines”) also felt outdated. It may be worth reviewing this part of the content to ensure it is accurate and reflects Indigenous perspectives more appropriately.

Awesome day. This tour is your best chance to enjoy nature with a guided bush walk and a visit to multiple amazing lookouts. 85% of Blue Mountains tours with only give you 90 minutes at the sights with the rest of the day stopping of at $ kick back visits. This tour is thankfully different. This is for nature lovers, not for themes park fans.

We really enjoyed this excursion! Our guide Smokey was friendly, enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable. We were picked up at our hotel and had a comfortable ride to our location with a quick stop to grab a bite and another educational stop along the way to Blue Mountains National Park. We hiked to wentworth falls and viewed the 3 sisters at sunset. This tour leaves at noon which worked perfectly for us as our cruise ended in Sydney that morning. I highly recommend the tour and Smokey as the guide.
