Onze Blue Mountains Day Tour biedt een ervaring van hoge kwaliteit. Het ophalen van de stad begint om 7.00 uur en het eerste hoogtepunt van de dag omvat een stop bij de Sydney Zoo, waar u kunt genieten van een cultureel gesprek van de First Nations en de kans krijgt om lokale dieren in het wild te ontmoeten met een dierentuinwachter. Vervolgens gaan we naar de Blue Mountains, waar je omringd wordt door het spectaculaire landschap van de weelderige Blue Mountains. Na de lunch (op eigen kosten) in Luera kunt u op eigen gelegenheid genieten van een schilderachtige wandeling langs de Prince Henry Cliff Walk. Tijdens uw wandeling langs de kliffen heeft u voldoende tijd om te genieten van het ongeëvenaarde uitzicht vanaf verschillende uitkijkpunten. Vervolgens gaan we naar de Olympic Park Wharf, waar u aan boord gaat van een schilderachtige veerboot terug naar de haven van Sydney. U kunt ervoor kiezen om de reis aan het eind van de dag te beëindigen bij Circular Quay of Darling Harbour.

Begin je avontuur met een bezoek aan Sydney Zoo, waar je inheemse dieren zoals kangoeroes, koala's en meer ontmoet. Verken het koalapad en zie een fascinerende inheemse artefactdemonstratie in de Talking Hut. Mis het enorme reptielen- en nachtelijke huis niet – de thuisbasis van de grootste collectie in zijn soort – voordat je een kopje koffie pakt en een korte pauze neemt.
Geniet van het weidse uitzicht op de Jamison Valley en bewonder de iconische Three Sisters-rotsformatie. Blader door de lokale souvenirwinkels met fonkelende kristallen en kostbare opalen, wandel vervolgens langs de zandstenen klifranden en bewonder de oude rotsformaties die zich uitstrekken tot aan de berg Gibraltar.
Pauzeer voor de lunch in het pittoreske dorpje Leura, bekend om zijn charmante cafés en grote verscheidenheid aan voedselkeuzes - van stevige burgers en houtgestookte pizza's tot verse salades en zoete lekkernijen zoals ijs en handgemaakte chocolade. Probeer de unieke kangoeroeburger of kangoeroegebak in een rijke goulashsaus, of neem je eigen lunch mee om van te genieten in het rustige park. Een lokale supermarkt is ook in de buurt voor extra snacks of essentials.
Geniet van een zelfstandige wandeling langs de Prince Henry Cliff Walk. Er zijn een aantal spectaculaire uitkijkpunten om van te genieten, waaronder Orphan Rock Lookout, Katoomba Falls Lookout, Cliff View Lookout en Juliet's Balcony. Het prachtige uitzicht op de Blue Mountains is ongeëvenaard tijdens deze wandeling langs de kliftoppen.
Sluit de tour af met een ontspannende veerboottocht langs de Parramatta-rivier, waarbij het stadsverkeer wordt omzeild. Geniet van een prachtig uitzicht terwijl u onder de Sydney Harbour Bridge doorvaart en aankomt op Circular Quay in de buurt van het Opera House.

Prompt & fuss free tour, driver Alan is friendly and has great background knowledge of the area of the tour.
As the weather was a bit too wet, we decided to go into scenic world, instead of just hiking around and we're glad we did as it was fun going on the difference rides, it was still quite a busy place but lines moved very quickly. It was really easy to book online and pick up our tickets. The Sydney zoo was lovely and the guided tour interesting. As always we wish we had more time to explore, especially at the bottom of the valley and really take it in, read the signs about the history of the area but all in all it was a good day out. The ferry ride back to circula quay was easy and efficient.
Overall a fantastic experience. We would recommend a little more time at the Zoo and a map of the total Zoo would have been helpful. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. The Blue Mountains were absolutely stunning.
So humbling to be able to visit and experience this area. We had a visit to a zoo and local village (Leura) before going to three sisters at Echo point and onto scenic world.
Great variety of pickup spots and the bus was comfortable. After I got on, I found that all the other passengers had booked directly with the company website - and had an additional tour option. In fact, I had to show the itinerary to the bus driver because he was not aware of it. My option was to go on my own for the walk at the end or find a way to get online to get a ticket for that other option. I really wanted to go for a walk and did not think that other option would be worth the money. 1. The zoo was okay. I did not realize the option to be able to feed a kangaroo. Besides Australian animals, the zoo had African animals and some dinosaur animatronics but that was all. 2. The next stop after the zoo were to places to eat and shop. 3. The third stop was to an overlook and where you could also eat/shop. 4. And the last stop is where the other bus passengers had their additional activity. The driver led me to a path where I could walk and I had a time to get back. But I found that many of the paths were being reconstructed with detours and the one that was not was a LOT of steps down (and up). And no "complimentary aboriginal cultural talk with an experienced guide" So basically the tour consisted of activities I could to for the cost of a bus ticket.
We had a great day. Paul was friendly, helpful, knowledgable of the Blue Mountain area, he even went out of his way to show us how to buy tickets for the ferry.

It is a mildly physical. Large groups. Recheck meet up times. Ours was wrong meet up one hour too early
The climb is harder than tou think but worth the pain. The tour huide was informative and respectful to all persona on tour
Pickup was punctual and luckily we were one of the first onboard. Irene, our driver, gave us a running commentary on our way around the city pointing out the salient spots. Irene, I should explain is an Aussie with a great Aussie sense of humour and has a colorful way about her. Our first stop was the Sydney Zoo where besides the exotic animals we were reminded of the broad range of fauna and of the creatures that can kill you. An early lunch at a small village called Leura in preparation for a longer stay at the Blue Mountain’s viewing area and the opportunity to ride on the cable cars. We finished the tour at the Olympic Park ferry pier where we were able to catch the ferry back to Circular Quay. I thought this was an added bonus. Payment for the ferry ride was additional but easy. One can use the tap-on/tap-off facility with one’s credit card and then it’s just sit back and relax. It was a great tour and I would recommend it to all ages.
