Blue Mountains-dagtour vanuit Sydney

The Blue Mountains was a phenomenal day trip from Sydney. It was a tour of 16 which was a great number. The driver/guide (Kyle) was punctual and helpful in all areas.

Very bad service, they told us they would pick us up at 7 am and they arrived 40 minutes late, that complicated the whole trip, For lunch they literally leave you to your own devices in the middle of a city you don't know, they gave us 40 minutes to eat and since all the tour buses arrive at the same place all the places were full, super complicated. In the end we missed the 5 o'clock ferry, and they left us there. The driver and guide was a good guy, nice and friendly, the places visited are attractive, but we didn't like the service at all.

This tour is fast-paced, with not much time at each location. The zoo offered an opportunity to see Australian animals. Lunch was too brief to finish my lunch by the time it was prepared. Then, the weather was bad, so the Three Sisters wasn’t visible. I just got drenched from the rain and was unhappy. Because of the bad weather, this tour wasn’t worth the time it took from my vacation. It also has two hours at the end of the tour for visiting Scenic World. With such bad weather, I’m sure that excursion wasn’t any good. However, I didn’t even know that was part of the tour, and my ticket didn’t include Scenic World rides. So I basically just ended up waiting around for two hours (sopping wet!) for the tour to finish. The radio music on the bus was also very loud. I couldn’t even drown it out using my AirPods. Overall, the zoo was my highlight and it went downhill from there…

Mark was very friendly and so knowledgeable. He was a very safe driver, we got some naps in but also learned a lot! He was very kind and patient and helped out any way he could the whole day with tips and with history along the way. I would absolutely recommend this tour and the only thing I didn’t know going in was to purchase the scenic world rides ahead of time, but you didn’t have to purchase those if you didn’t want to do them and still walk around and explore. Also the scenic world food was pretty good!

We (2 adults and kids ages 11, 12, 15) had a great trip from Sydney with Tom. A highlight at Featherdale was seeing the blue fairie penguins, koalas, and kangaroos. We popped into a diner for delicious donuts, stopped in Leura for lunch, made a handful of stops in Blue Mountain National Park (including at waterfalls and the Three Sisters viewing platform, a little bit of hiking involving steps but nothing too strenuous or difficult for our active group). Our guide was knowledgeable and shared various tips and information about the area, and he was a true steward of the land (stopping other tourists from feeding birds which can be very harmful). Communication was good. The drive felt safe and was pleasant. It was a lovely day, highly recommend this tour and Tom.

As the weather was a bit too wet, we decided to go into scenic world, instead of just hiking around and we're glad we did as it was fun going on the difference rides, it was still quite a busy place but lines moved very quickly. It was really easy to book online and pick up our tickets. The Sydney zoo was lovely and the guided tour interesting. As always we wish we had more time to explore, especially at the bottom of the valley and really take it in, read the signs about the history of the area but all in all it was a good day out. The ferry ride back to circula quay was easy and efficient.

Overall a fantastic experience. We would recommend a little more time at the Zoo and a map of the total Zoo would have been helpful. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. The Blue Mountains were absolutely stunning.
