Blue Lagoon, Comino & Zeegrotten

Beschrijving

Smaller boat, great atmosphere, very friendly staff and we really loved our day. Brilliant Value and flexible. I had to cancel my first Trip and money was refunded quickly. I managed to re-book for a different date, then I moved this to a better day. All re-orginised over email without any issue. Sorry I created this work but you were amazing!
Mermaid Cruises gives the impression of an individual boat tour to Blue Lagoon, Sea Caves and Comino. In addition, a tour is also offered to Gozo. The individual nature of the offer was the reason why we chose this provider. On the boat it turns out in the Blue Lagoon that both offers are carried out simultaneously. One part of the group is dropped off at the completely overflowing Blue Lagoon for about 3 hours and is left to its own devices, while the other part of the group is driven to Gozo, and then dropped off at the port. For stays in the Blue Lagoon, an online registration is required, which is also strictly checked on site. You don’t know exactly which timeslot you need to sign up for in advance and that you should do this well before the start of the journey, as there is only a limited capacity. On the way back (sunset tour) a few caves are still headed alibi-wise, but it is already too dark for them. The boat is not suitable for the cave passages. All in all, it's not worth the money. Either you forgo this experience or you organize a real private tour that arrives in front of the tourist crowds in the Blue Lagoon. We absolutely cannot recommend the provider.
Bad experience, we arrived at the port at 8:58 and the boat (even old and full of people) left in front of us, we tried to ask for a refund or if it was possible to do it in the afternoon and with rudeness and malice we were told that we lost our 70 euros! And you had to make another ticket! The Boat was full of people not approved, in my opinion, for all those people and also it is a very, very old boat, compared to others that do the same tour even at a lower price! They even threatened us if we even made a negative review. They basically stole our money, saying the excuse was for us being late when we were on the harbor at 9:00 a.m. I highly recommend it to anyone!! Book with other companies, I attach photos of the bad boat.
Excellent day trip in Malta. Had lots of time at the stops to swim/walk or eat. Smallish boat which was lovely and crew very friendly. Paid an additional €6 to get bus to Victoria in Gozo which we well worth it
An amazing experience, beautiful scenery will definitely be going back and the boat staff were excellent. Depending on which boat trip we had an over an hour and half to swim in the blue lagoon
Amazing tour with lots of interesting and beautiful sights. The crew is very pleasant and friendly, the boat ride is really enjoyable and the blue lagoon is to die for. I visit Malta every year and never miss the opportunity to take this tour with Mermaid.
We had a nice tour. It was all on time. The captain was kind and informative. The crew really helpful. It is worth trying when you are in Malta.
Both the captain and Robbie was fantastic. There service was excellent and always made sure we was happy. They even stayed very calm with rude people shouting at them for not reading the service they provide properly. The captain not only maintained a very nice and clean boat he made sure to let the other boats know they need to fix the position to not damage the bay. Family or couples or lads holiday I would highly recommend this boat trip.
Lovely trip with lovely crew everything was perfect. I wish there was more time in Blue lagoon and less time in Gozo. Blue lagoon was breathtaking and beautiful place. The water was crystal clear we saw some dolphins on the way back which was amazing 🤩
Great day out! Great price for what you get, got to the blue lagoon for about 11am (set off at 10ish from St Paul’s bay) and got picked back up at 2.30pm, then get taken to St Mary’s cave where you can take pictures at not extra cost and boat is small enough to go inside the caves (you don’t get to swim in them though) then get taken to St Paul’s island where you can swim, jump off the boat, go and have a walk around the island and see the statue ( although this is only about an hours stop). Very for filling, long day (7hrs in total!) so great value for money! Boat is fairly busy with other guests but much quieter than some of the other boat trips. (Make sure you are on time to get the boat back as they will probably leave without you if not). Also seating in the shade is limited on the boat we had to sit upstairs so make sure you wear plenty of suncream or if you want the shaded seats arrive early to board! Cash only for refreshments on the boat, all refreshments are very cheap E.g. €2 for a soft drink. Captain and crew were very friendly and brought round pineapples for a snack on the way back 😋 and gave good information about the stops. Music was playing throughout the journey which was nice. The boat is fairly slow so did take about an hour to get from place to place.
