Blauwe Grot Vertrek vertrekt dagelijks vanuit de oude binnenstad van Dubrovnik, Cavtat, Mlini en Srebreno. De tour begint met een panoramisch uitzicht op de stadsmuren van Dubrovnik voordat u naar het eiland Koločep gaat om de Blauwe Grot te bezoeken, alleen toegankelijk door te zwemmen. Snorkelen uitrusting is inbegrepen om de turquoise wateren te verkennen, met optionele klif springen in de buurt. Vervolgens zijn de Drie Groene Grotten, waar twee gemakkelijk snorkelen en een is een tunnel die leidt door het eiland. De laatste stop is Šunj Beach op Lopud, een zandstrand van een kilometer met ondiep water. De speedboot rijdt naar het dichtstbijzijnde punt mogelijk voor gast drop-off, dan ankeren weg van de kust in overeenstemming met de strandvoorschriften. Gasten kunnen genieten van de vrije tijd en degenen die een drankje bestellen aan de bar met blauwe parasols ontvangen een gratis ligbed en parasol. (Van november tot april is het strand van Šunj gesloten, dus onze stop zal worden aangepast aan ofwel Lopud dorp of Koločep dorp.) De tour eindigt met terugkeer naar het vertrekpunt.

Geniet van een adembenemend panoramisch uitzicht op de oude stadsmuren terwijl uw schipper u enkele stadslegendes en interessante feiten vertelt. Je verkoopt ook onder het fort Lovrijenac, gebouwd op een 37 meter hoge steile klif die boven de Adriatische Zee uitsteekt.
Blue Cave, beroemd om zijn gloeiende blauwe water veroorzaakt door natuurlijke lichtreflectie. Snorkelen apparatuur (snorkelen maskers en ademhalingsbuis) is voorzien voor een meeslepende ervaring. Drijvers zoals "noedels" zijn beschikbaar op de boot indien nodig. De boot gaat voor anker op zo'n 20 meter van de Blauwe Grot die alleen toegankelijk is door te zwemmen omdat de ingang te klein is om de boot binnen te gaan.
Twee Green Caves, waar zonlicht zorgt voor een unieke smaragdgroene gloed. Canyon Cave, een verborgen natuurlijke doorgang uitgehouwen in de kliffen. Optioneel zwemmen en snorkelen
Šunj is onze laatste stop, een zandstrand aan de zuidkant van Lopud Island. Geniet van vrije tijd zonnebaden en zwemmen in het kristalheldere water. Een van de unieke kenmerken van Šunj is de ondiepe zeebodem, die zich 100 meter van de kust uitstrekt, waardoor het ideaal is voor kinderen en minder zelfverzekerde zwemmers. (Van november tot april is het strand van Šunj gesloten, dus onze stop zal worden aangepast aan ofwel Lopud dorp of Koločep dorp.)

Great time all around. Luka was great
This is the truth about this trip. We booked at a kiosk the day before and were told to arrive 20 mins early at 9:30 the next morning, which we did. The boat arrived but we couldn’t board initially because people booking via the internet had priority. Another boat turned up, and all the people who had kiosk tickets boarded that. 8 out of 12 possible spaces. As it turned out it was a better option as there was plenty of space on board. Both boats zoomed along to the blue cave. There were about a dozen other tourist boats already there. It was busy, but the cave was pretty cool, and blue. You didn’t have to dive underwater to get in, you could just swim in, albeit through a low entrance. From there to the green caves. The most interesting being the one on the left. It gets very narrow, but quite manageable and you can stand up. Off the narrow corridor there’s a small cave half way along that you can swim into, if you’re happy to swim about 1m underwater. It was similar to the rest of the cave and unremarkable in that way. However, my brother and I went into it and shortly after swam out into the middle of a couple of girls happily navigating the narrow corridor giving them a fright. Not intentionally. They found it v funny after getting over the shock. To exit the cave you do have to swim under a short 1m section. Again, no one struggled with doing this. Then you exit and swim back round to the boat, about 100m Last stop is the beach where you’re guided to a sun lounger providing you buy a drink. It’s a nice place to hang out for an hour and half and v shallow water. There was time to chat to some of the other people on board and meet another Robin which was nice. Finally you zoom back to Dubrovnik. The boat is fast so none of the legas take v long. It’s a bit of production line but I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Drinks on the boat are included. The guide, Marco, was v friendly.
Marco was great. Cave was blue, green lagoon caves were fun and it was nice to relax on the beach.

The stops themselves were good, but no alcoholic drinks were included, just coke, peach juice and water, nothing else. The stop in Lopud beach, we were told to pay for overpriced food and drinks to get a free beach recliner and umbrella. This was definitely what was described in the experience when buying.
No beer. But wine. Nice. And Marco is the best host.
Marco was a relaxing and non chalant guide poured us wine and took us everywhere with total control of the boat. Thankful to have had booked with who we did

We had a beautiful half-day on the crystal-clear water, snorkeling and exploring the island caves. Our last stop was Lopud, where we enjoyed an hour on loungers on the sandy beach, where we ordered drinks and calamari from the friendly beach staff. The skipper and first mate did a great job and ensured that we all had a wonderful experience. One note: the booking indicated that we would be on a “speedboat”, but we were in fact on what was more of a fishing trawler-type vessel. This meant that entry and exit were on a ladder off the side of the boat, rather than a swim platform as found on boats designed for swimming, water skiing, etc. It was fine for us, but perhaps less so for some. Overall a great half-day tour, though!
