Ons grote avontuur begint met een bezoek aan een van de grootste schatten van Ierland, Blarney Castle, de thuisbasis van Blarney Stone, ook wel bekend als Stone of Eloquence. Weet je dat als je de steen kust, je de gave van welsprekendheid krijgt? Blarney Castle is meer dan een kasteel, het is een complex gebouw dat in verschillende delen is verdeeld: kapel, feestzaal en familiekamer, slaapkamer voor jongedames, de kerker, de grote zaal, de keuken... Na dit bezoek aan het kasteel rijden we naar Cork waar we gaan genieten van een panoramische tour (we stoppen niet om bezienswaardigheden te bezoeken). Je leert de geschiedenis van de Engelse markt kennen, een van 's werelds oudste gemeentelijke markten, de St. Anne's Church die bekend staat om de beroemde Shandon Bells-toren. We kunnen Cork niet verlaten zonder de beroemde Jameson-distilleerderij te bezoeken. Tijdens de rondleiding wordt u getoond hoe whisky wordt gemaakt en kunt u deze proeven. Was disappointed with Blarney Castle as the wait was too long for the time allocated. No time to visit the woolen mill if you walked around the castle grounds. Also, thought our guide should have walked us around the castle grounds more. Enjoyed the Jameson visit but again not enough time- felt rushed. Had a nice lunch in Cork though.

We had a really great time in this tour. Unfortunately our tour left 2 behind at the beginning, but the company paid to get them caught up (way to go)! The castle was amazing and the whiskey tour was awesome. I'd do it again!

The trip was really great. Marysol was an exceptional tour guide. She tried to accommodate everyone. The group of 19 were all back on time which made the tour even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Our group of 26, could not enough good things about the guides and bus driver we had. Guide new the history very well. Plus, she made sure that all our needs were taken care of. We had people with small, or active bladders in our group. No problem! Guide provided "timely" access to the rest rooms.

Connor was amazing, he went above and beyond for us. While in the bus he told us great information about Ireland. Also while on Blarney Castle and Middleton he gave us great information. Highly recommended. Communication was excellent even though our ship landed at a different dock, they picked all of us up there to make it more convenient. Couldn’t be happier.

The Itinerary was great but the guide lacked any and all time management skills. We missed much of the castle for parking and had no plans for lunch. Guide talked at us reading and never asked us what we thought or took questions.
