Als dat zo is zijn we op zoek naar nieuwe rekruten dus kom en sluit je aan bij onze gids, Edward Shelby, een lid van de slogging bendes. Hij zal je de stad laten zien & je de wegen van de bendes leren & hoe de realiteit verschilt van hun portrettering in de populaire cultuur .. Deze tour van het bekroonde bedrijf, Top Tours Global, is gericht op de historische en culturele aspecten van de Birmingham slogging bendes. Je leert over hoe de bendes Birmingham terroriseerden in de late 19e & vroege 20e eeuw. Deze tour zal bendeleden verkennen zoals Billy Kimber, Alfie Solomon & de Italiaanse maffia. Deze twee uur durende tour begint en eindigt bij Aston University, met parkeergelegenheid beschikbaar en gaat diep in historische bendegebieden. The tour was quite nice to learn about old gangs, including the Shelbys in Birmingham. However, it didn’t really have much to do with the Peaky Blinders series per se, so unfortunately you don’t get to see any locations. Personally, the pace was a little too fast for me. We hurried across the city, so there was hardly any time for a photo.

Overall very good tour , however there were periods of just walking and not chatting about the history. May also need to consider a rain route/plan. Guide was excellent
Excellent tour, very informative and fun. Loved learning a little about my own city and stopping off in a old Birmingham boozer mid tour was a lovely touch. Edward the tour guide really makes the difference, very good at what he does!
Edward was a wonderful tour guide! He brought to life the gangs of Birmingham, if you’re a fan of the Peaky Blinders show, it is a must do tour. Not only did he integrate aspects of the show to the modern appearance of Birmingham, he also including all sorts of history about the city in itself throughout the decades between the late 1800’s and the 1970’s.

I absolutely loved this tour. A fan of the show, yes, but also just generally interested in Birmingham history. Edward was knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining real life vs the show, and tying the history internationally, too. Loved the stops along the tour and would recommend to anyone! Fantastic tour!
I was disappointed with this tour. I had expected a Brummie to be leading it, not an American! The tour takes advantage of the Peaky's TV show and film, but is really about the real life gangs.
