Verken het betoverende water van Florida's Indian River Lagoon tijdens een bioluminescente kajaktour. Als de avond valt, komt de lagune tot leven met sprankelende natuurlijke lichten, waardoor een onvergetelijke setting ontstaat om te peddelen. Tijdens je avontuur zal een ACA gecertificeerde Florida Naturalist je Gids door het meest biodiverse estuarium van Noord-Amerika, waar je in de zomer de Melkweg kunt bewonderen en dolfijnen en lamantijnen naast je kunt spotten. Maak je klaar voor een avond vol verwondering onder de sterren.

Uw Gids zal alles klaarzetten en klaarzetten voor u om in te schepen wanneer u ter plaatse aankomt! Onze lanceerlocatie biedt vrij uitzicht op het voertuigassemblagegebouw van het Space Center, raketlanceerplatforms en de Melkweg aan de nachtelijke hemel. Op een heldere nacht zien we vaak vallende sterren, starlink satellieten en zelfs het ISS boven ons hoofd. In het water is een microscopische alg verantwoordelijk voor bioluminescentie onder je. Peddel met een gecertificeerde Florida naturalist die echt om het ecosysteem geeft en leer van de microscopische onderkant van het voedselweb tot de top over ecologie in de lagune. Op sommige zomeravonden is er een mogelijkheid om watermonsters te nemen om de dinoflagellaten in het water te kwantificeren, omdat Sunny Nights Kayak Tours helpt bij de cumulatieve studies van een wetenschapper naar de pyrodiniumbloei in onze lagune!

We had such a wonderful time on our bioluminescence tour with Sunny! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience fun and relaxing. The scenery was beautiful, and Sunny did a great job making sure everyone felt comfortable and enjoyed the tour. The tour was PERFECT ! We saw manatees, dolphins, and watched a rocket launch from the middle of the lagoon. Can’t say enough good things about this tour!!
The bioluminescence was amazing. We appreciated that Sunny took us to see the glowing fish darting around under water in the bioluminescence. She showed us some other wildlife as well and we even saw a shooting star!

The meeting up place was perfect. A little park and lots of manatees. We kayaked out to an island and the bioluminescent was just gorgeous. Sunny old us about the area and we learned about bioluminescentlnce as well. We had a great time! I like that the groups are smaller and not a big crowd We'll go again in the winter and try to see the bioluminescent yelly fish.

What an epic adventure this was!! We took this tour on a family vacation with two teenagers in toe. We had the most amazing time with incredible weather. Our guide, Sunny, was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. We would definitely do this again and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone!!

We had a great time with friends on this kayak experience! Even though the weather handed us some wind to contend with, we paddled through and didn’t let it interfere with our trip. Loved that it was a “small group “ experience. Sunny and Phil were excellent guides. Their experience and passion for what they do is apparent and enhanced the experience. The fish swimming through the bioluminescence was the coolest! We would recommend this trip to anyone wanting an adventure and to explore the beauty of these waters.
