Dit is een van de meest unieke tours in NYC. Met meer dan 5000 jaar beschaving van over de hele wereld vertegenwoordigd in een van 's werelds grote musea, is een rondleiding om ervoor te zorgen dat de "must-sees" een noodzaak! Deze tour navigeert door meesterwerken van beschaving uit de hele wereld met een bijzondere focus op de kunst en artefacten uit het Bijbelse tijdperk. We worden vervoerd naar de graven van het oude Egypte en bezoeken verhalen over Genesis en Exodus, bewonderen kunst uit de Byzantijnse en middeleeuwse wereld die verhalen van Israëlische koningen als David en Salomo tot leven brengt, en we bezoeken Romeins Judea om artefacten van de tempel van Jeruzalem en de wereld van Jezus te onderzoeken. Natuurlijk zal de persoonlijkheid van uw Gids bepalen zal de kunst het leven brengen!

Jonathan was so knowledgeable not only about biblical historical aspects of the MET but the MET altogether! During our guide multiple individuals came up to ask him information as he was so knowledgeable and I could tell many wanted to join our private tour! Would definitely recommend especially in the future when more exhibits are available to see at the museum.

THE MET can be a bit visually overwhelming when you enter, as its such a big place 🤩 What was really awesome is that not only did Jonathan text me a picture of himself at the meet up point 👌🏽, but he was also there to greet us as soon as we entered the museum & even arranged to get us a wheelchair so that my elderly father could fully enjoy the tour. As we walked along, Jonathan did such an amazing job at connecting some of the artifacts we were seeing in the displays to stories in the Bible that those times correspond to. Really cool to see some visual references connecting to some of my favorite biblical stories 🙏🏽 I would highly recommend this guided tour w/ Jonathan, as Me & My father enjoyed every minute of our journey walking through the Met with Jonathan, we were learning so much but also able to admire/enjoy the beauty of The Met ❤️ I’m very glad I found this tour, it made our visit to The Met that much more special…10/10
