Reizigers vertrekken vanaf de luchthaven van Hilo, waar ze rechtstreeks naar het nationale park van de vulkanen vliegen. Onderweg zien ze orchideeënkwekerijen en weelderig inheems bos dat voor een groot deel alleen op het grote eiland te vinden is. Het nationale park van de vulkanen biedt een adembenemend uitzicht op zowel oude als nieuwe lavastromen.

- Extra stoel vereist voor passagiers van meer dan 250 lbs of een gecombineerd gewicht van twee personen van 420 lbs
- Showtijd is 1 uur voor vertrektijd, niet op tijd opdagen kan leiden tot verbeurdverklaring van stoel zonder restitutie
- Nauwkeurige gewichten zijn belangrijk. als er geen nauwkeurige gewichten worden gegeven, wordt u mogelijk gedwongen een andere stoel te kopen of de tour te verlaten. Er wordt geen restitutie gegeven voor problemen met onnauwkeurige gewichten die een veiligheidsprobleem tot gevolg hebben.
- Veiligheidsgordels moeten om zijn tijdens de hele tour van laden tot lossen
- We raden niet aan om met een Lap Child te vliegen, tenzij u bereid bent om de zitplaatsen te accepteren. Een schootkind zit ongeveer een uur op schoot van een ouder of voogd. Ze zullen een baby reddingsvest dragen. De veiligheidsgordel gaat alleen om de ouder/voogd heen. Je schootkind wordt niet vastgegespt. Dit is een deel van de definitie van een schootkind en hoe ze moeten zitten volgens de FAA.
- We hebben beperkte binnenruimte aan boord van een helikopter en kunnen geen extra bagage meenemen.
- Vanwege de hogere brandstofprijzen hebben we een stijging van $ 26,70 voor brandstof toegevoegd, maar het is al inbegrepen in uw prijs.

This experience was truly amazing, a standout in the activities done in the big island. We got to see actual lava! Shooting high from the volcano during episode 51. Such a rare unexpected sight that will last forever. The pilot was amazing too, very knowledgeable and the flight was extremely smooth

The weather wasn’t cooperating, but fortunately we were still able to do a beautiful coast waterfall tour. Jim gave some good details about the island and what we were passing.

Amazing views of the waterfalls. We were booked to go to volcanoes but due to lack of visibility wasn’t able to happen so opted for waterfalls. Amazing views but obviously disappointed we couldn’t view what was booked. Company was great about it

The pilot could have told us that the volcano was not active that day, but he really didn't say much as he flew us over the crater. If he would have told us, we wouldn't have expected see anything spectacular.
Aloha Gyongyver, Cookie, Jim and I are truly sorry that you were disappointed in the views Mother Nature offered on Sunday. I checked your flight path, and see that The Kilauea Volcano and Volcano National Park was flown over. The Kilauea Volcano is considered to be active even when not active erupting red lava.
WHAT A JOKE!! This was touted as a tour of the Volcano National Park. Instead, for our $379 we hovered over lava fields for 50 minutes and saw a couple waterfalls. To make matters worse, employees knew when we checked in there was no way we were going to see the volcano. When you go on a whale watching tour and don’t see whales your fee is reimbursed. No mention of a refund was offered. I will never go on another Safari tour!

The staff were very friendly. The pilot was super knowledgeable about the area. He must be a geographer or nature conservator or something, or may be a PhD holder. I would love to go back to the adventure.

The safari helicopter crew were friendly and very helpful. Our pilot Andrew is very experienced and our flight was very smooth. We were all first time helicopter fliers, so were very nervous but it wasn’t scary at all. He shared lots of fun information about Hawaii and showed us amazing views. One recommendation about the time slot, pick an earlier time if you can. We went around noon and it was really hot even though the helicopter was climate controlled.
