Ontdek onze wereld onder de golven met Atlantis Submarines Kona! Onze door batterijen aangedreven schepen zijn de technologisch meest geavanceerde passagiersonderzeeërs ter wereld. Een speciale toegevoegde bonus van deze tourervaring is ook het zien van de kustlijn van Kona tijdens het varen op onze shuttleboot. Duik 30 meter onder het oppervlak en ervaar Kona's mariene mysteries, gemarkeerd door een prachtige en ongerepte natuurlijke koraalriftuin van 25 hectare, gecreëerd door een oude lavastroom. De Kona-duikplek wordt bezocht door fascinerend onderwaterleven, zoals barracuda's, gele tang-, paling- en papegaaivissen. Zie uit de eerste hand hoe gezonken schepen zich hebben gecombineerd met Moeder Natuur om zelfvoorzienende habitats te creëren die het zeeleven voor de kusten van Kona aantrekken en voeden.

Een onvergetelijke reis van 45 minuten aan boord van een Atlantis-onderzeeër met 48 passagiers, zoals te zien is in National Geographic-televisiespecials, waar gasten een natuurlijk koraalrif van 25 hectare en zijn mariene bewoners verkennen! Sta Atlantis Submarines toe om je de andere 96% van Kona te laten zien die je op geen enkele andere manier kunt zien. Trakteer uzelf op Kona's mooiste en meest boeiende landschappen, habitats en geïsoleerde schatten. Je daalt 30 voet af naar een andere versie van het paradijs - een die zelfs eeuwenlang verborgen is gebleven voor de mensen van Hawaï. Atlantis Submarines Kona biedt een reis aan boord van een onderzeeër voor 48 passagiers. Gasten zullen een 18.000 jaar oud, 25 hectare groot koraalrif ontdekken, dat een levendig ecosysteem heeft. - Kinderen moeten 36 centimeter lang of langer zijn om de onderzeeër te besturen
- Kinderen jonger dan 3 jaar die voldoen aan de eis van 36 inch mogen de onderzeeër besturen en er moet een kinderticket worden gekocht.
- De werkelijke duur van de onderwatertour is 45 minuten. Pendelboottocht van de pier naar de onderzeeër en de transfer duurt 5 minuten per enkele reis
- Passagiers moeten in staat zijn om een bijna verticale ladder te beklimmen en af te dalen om aan boord van de onderzeeër te gaan

Staff was professional, parking was easy, found the establishment easy. Only thing was most of the fish were on the opposite side in which we sat. Overall 9 out of 10

It was a fantastic experience! I was a little apprehensive about getting from the boat to the sub because I don’t swim. AT ALL. Lol. But it wasn’t anything to worry about. Other than needing to hang on to the rail because of ocean waves and boat movement, it was very easy. It’s just a ramp with rails on each side to transfer from the boat to the sub, then climbing straight down the ladder into the submarine. Easy Peasy.

Was a “meh” experience. $15 dollars for the self guided botanical garden tour. Totally NOT worth it. If you’re there for the zip line, it’s probably great. But on foot, it’s messy, old cars parked everywhere, walking areas are practically non existent. Very poorly marked. Saw a large wild hog running the grounds and decided to avoid the orchards because we just didn’t feel like being seen as competition for his dinner…or being his dinner. lol The one waterfall we saw was off site. We drove there. It was beautiful Would we visit again? No. I wish we had gone to Hawai‘i Tropical Botanical Garden. It’s just a few miles further down the road. We drove by there on our way to a hiking trail to find a great ocean view. The trail we took bisected with the HTBG trail. It seemed much more organized and probably didn’t have the very dirty portable potties. Lessons learned.

Several members of our group were a little skittish about going underwater in close quarters. My 17-year old niece thought this was the best tour of our trip. Views are beautiful. We went down 100ft below the surface. Really cool!!!

Took the tour 2 years ago, and this is the second time. Surprisingly, I find the coral reef becomes significantly more and better than last time 😀 therefore I have seen quite many fish 🐠

Great time! All 5 of us loved this adventure. The shipwrecks below and their stories were interesting. Staff was nice and friendly. No sharks or large fish came to see us but schools of many different kinds came right up to the windows. Would have liked to stay down longer. E would definitely recommend this for any age.

We had a fantastic submarine tour! The crew was friendly, professional, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. It was amazing to see the underwater world up close, with colorful fish, coral, and even a small shark. The tour was well organized, informative, and unforgettable. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Only little fish only little coral. Not worthy of price . Only 10 of us including 2 children . I don’t know if captain did not take the boat to deep enough of far enough from pier ?
