Bekijk de schilderachtige Cascade Mountains en het bos in de buurt van Deception Falls (niet van december 2025 tot maart 2026 vanwege de weg die is verwoest door overstromingen) op weg naar het Beierse dorp Leavenworth. Hier heeft u tijd om het gezellige dorpje te verkennen voordat we verder gaan naar de majestueuze Snoqualmie Falls die 270 voet hoog zijn. U eindigt de dag met uitzicht op het Borstmeer waar Mount Si vaak wordt weerspiegeld.

We rijden naar Leavenworth en stoppen bij de Deception Falls in de Cascade Mountain Range. We wandelen 0,6 mijl om het bos en de bovenste en onderste watervallen te zien.
Leavenworth is een Beiers dorp uit 1885 in de Cascade Bergen in centraal Washington. We gaan een paar uur op eigen houtje het alpendorp verkennen.
We rijden naar een 270 - voet hoge waterval, Snoqualmie Falls, dat is in de buurt van het historische Snoqualmie stad. Vervolgens bekijken we een schilderachtig meer waar Mount Si vaak wordt weerspiegeld voordat we terugkeren naar het centrum van Seattle.

This was a fairly gentle tour without a lot of walking or climbing necessary. Anthony, our guide, was knowledgeable and considerate.
Five stars for Anthony! He was perfectly on time and incredibly professional throughout the trip. His driving was top-notch—very smooth and safe. We were so impressed by how well-planned the itinerary was; everything flowed beautifully, making the whole experience effortless and fun for us. Thank you for making our day so memorable!
We had a great day, and our tour guide, Susan, was lovely - patient, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. Our group only had 9 people, so that was nice. Both the waterfalls we saw were amazing, and the drive through the mountains was awesome. Leavenworth was a bit underwhelming, but we have been to Germany and Austria before. Sweet but a little touristy. We’re glad we went but probably would just opt for waterfalls and brief hikes next time.
This experience was not as expected. We had hoped there would be some narration along the way verses complete silence for 4 to 5 hours of driving.
My apologies but the reason for the silence is that the guide is focusing on driving and explains everything beforehand and in breaks and when stopping to see the falls back and forth to Leavenworth. There is plenty of narration throughout the day.
The tour begins with a pickup in Downtown Seattle, from there it is about a 1.5-hour drive to the first stop at Deception Falls. After that, it continues for about an hour to Leavenworth, where there is a 3-hour stay for shopping, eating, etc. On the way back, we will also visit Snoqualmie Falls. Overall, it is a very beautiful and varied trip with enough time to explore the places on your own, and Anthony was a very good tour guide.
Tour Guide, Susan was outstanding. Be prepared for some walking at the falls. Not overly taxing, but more than I expected. Susan pointed out a lot of information- especially at the falls. She is knowledgeable and truly enjoys sharing details. Leavenworth a quaint destination for lunch, shopping and don’t miss going done to the river. Save room for after lunch treats.
The tour guide was knowledgeable. Great driving skills. Safety first. Great service. Connected before the trip to confirm place and time and give peace of mind. Ample time for each places.
We couldn’t go to Leavenworth due to fires and smoke on the area, but Susan offered Mt Rainier with no extra charge and it was a great experience. Susan was very knowledgeable and took amazing pictures for us. I am planning to come back to Seattle and visit Leavenworth and book this tour offered by Susan
