Het grootste religieuze complex ter wereld. Het beslaat meer dan 300 hectare. Er was meer dan 1700 nodig om gebouwd te worden, maar niet afgemaakt. Het was opgedragen aan de Thebaanse Triad; Amun, Mut en Khonsu.
De majestueuze tempel van Luxor, gelegen in het hart van Luxor. Het werd gestart door farao Amenhotep III en werd voltooid door farao Ramses II, tijdens het nieuwe koninkrijk. Het was ook opgedragen aan Theban Triad.

In November 2023, my husband, I, and a couple of friends took a dream trip. We went to Egypt to see the wonders of the ancient world. We did a very intense search on the internet to hire a guide service to make the most of our trip. We found the company Happy Egypt! We hired their service to visit Alexandria, which was a wonderful tour, mainly due to the professionalism and knowledge that our guide Sayed showed about the history of Alexandria. It was just a day trip, but it was fantastic everything we saw and learned about the history of that place. The driver service was also excellent, the driver very responsible and polite, and the car was a very comfortable van. The lunch included in the tour was delicious. The next day we went to Luxor. The company Happy Egypt arranged everything; airline tickets, transfers from the hotel to the airport - all very well organized. Luxor is a phenomenal place! A must-see for anyone visiting Egypt. Our guide in Luxor was Mohamed, a very friendly gentleman who is knowledgeable about Egyptian history. The lunch served by the tour package offered by Happy Egypt was delicious, in a restaurant near the Nile River. We recommend the services offered by Happy Egypt. If one day we return to Egypt, we will definitely hire Happy Egypt's service again. We only had one day in Luxor, and we enjoyed it a lot. In fact, if we had more time, we would have stayed at least two more days. There are many spectacular things to see in Luxor. And actually, it was a bit overwhelming to visit all the monuments we visited in just one day. If you can, stay at least 2 days in Luxor.

The team changed our tour to include valley of the nobles and valley of the workers and they are THE BEST of the temples. Simply amazing, a must do - was even better than valley of the kings. Team were just brilliant and our guide Mahmoud made the whole trip!! Definitely recommend them.
