U krijgt een unieke kans om 's werelds grootste wijnmakerij ter wereld te bezoeken - Milestii Mici Winery, opgericht in 1969 voor kleine opslag, rijping en conservering van wijnen van hoge kwaliteit. Ondergrondse tunnels met een lengte van 200 km worden gegraven in lagen kalksteenrotsen op een diepte tussen 35 en 80 meter. Het vertegenwoordigt een unieke ondergrondse stad, bekend over de hele wereld door zijn enorme labyrinten van straten en ook de grootste wijncollectie ter wereld. Een andere belangrijke toeristische bezienswaardigheid is het herenhuis Manuc Bei, gelegen in de stad Hâncești. Gebouwd aan het begin van de 19e eeuw, in 1816. Het project werd gerealiseerd door de beroemde Italiaanse architect Bernardazzi. Het zogenaamde "Moldavische Versailles"-paleis respecteert de stijl van het Franse classicisme. We bezoeken het jachtkasteel, het Natural History and Ethnography Museum en The Manuc Bei Mansion.

Ons land heeft een rijke wijntraditie die duizenden jaren teruggaat en Milestii Mici is een goed voorbeeld van het Moldavische wijnerfgoed. Je krijgt een rondleiding van 1,5 uur, inclusief excursie in de ondergrondse stad Milestii Mici en wijnproeverij (3 soorten wijnen, verschillende soorten Bruschetta, water).
We bezoeken Manuc Bei Mansion in de stad Hincesti, op een afstand van 36 km van Chisinau. De rondleiding duurt ongeveer 45 minuten. De toeristen zullen het Manuc Bei Architectural Historic Complex ontdekken, het Museum voor Geschiedenis en Etnografie bezoeken, het Manuc Bei-paleis, een ondergrondse tunnel, het jachtkasteel. Er is ook een wijnwinkel, waar u een fles mousserende wijn kunt kopen of een wijn die is bereid door Hincesti Winery.

Really nice reserve with decades of history. There is nothing to add on the visit. I recommand that unique experience for wine lovers. Feedback about transportation service: It would be good if you can pick people in larger zone cause everybody isn't staying in an hotel. Even more some Hotel in Chisinau were impossible to book as departure location. Extend that to improve the confort !
I had a great trip on the Manuc Bei and Milestii Mici tour. My tour guide Slava was very knowledgeable and taught me a lot about Moldovan history and culture. Finishing up at Milestii Mici for the wine tour and tasting was a perfect end to the day and Slava even dropped me at the airport close by afterwards for my flight. 100% recommend this trip if you are looking for an insight into Moldovan history and like a glass of wine!
Our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable, and the tour at Milestii mici is a not-to-be missed activity. The cellar and tasting room are impressive. You’ll train/walk around the cellar for about 40 minutes then end with a sit down wine tasting with three wines and a meat/cheese plate.

Fantastic half-day tour. I like very much that I was given two options to start: early at 8:05am and later after 10:00 am. My guide Ecaterina was knowledgeable, polite, smiling and friendly. She stopped anywhere I wanted to take pictures and make the tour smooth and enjoyable. Winery visit was a delight: tour, tasting, music. Food during tasting was rather light lunch than snacks. Nice! Recommend for everybody.
Our guide Slava was excellent. We got to know many things from Moldavia. It was a good journey for us.
🇬🇧 Well organised- everything worked a promised. Pick up right on time in front of my hotel, then direct drive to the Manuc- Bey- Complex, then Lunch break and after that the final drive to Mileştii Mici. All guides explained everything well and there was enough time for own questions and fotos.
