We absolutely loved this tour, our guide was so knowledgeable. So much to see and well worth a visit.
Wow, what a wonderful experience! Petra our guide made the ruins come back to life with her full and vivid descriptions. Amazing walk back in time!
I was very underwhelmed with our guide. He spoke poor English and led us around for an hour and a half is high heat with little shade. I have been on quite a few tours on this trip to Spain and was given a clear introduction about the history of the country and the site I was visiting wherever I went. I honestly cannot repeat anything of what I was supposed to have learned here. The guide was constantly talking about what it possibly could have been and we were repeatedly told to use our imagination and many theories. I could have walked the site in less than half an hour for the 1,50 Euro entrance fee and it would have been done faster and walked away equally informed.
Hello, thank you very much for your feedback. Just for clarification, your visit included transport from Sevilla to the monument and back to Seville and a guide. Also, keep in mind, we can not do anything about the heat in the day of the visit. Kind regards.
I purchased the tickets the night before and the process was effective and quick. The guide staff was waiting for me at the entrance.
Although the guide was very pleasant and friendly, with engaging explanations. The only downside is that he spent an excessive amount of time at some sites, so we could not see the thermal baths and he only showed us the entrance and center of the amphitheater. After that, we had to explore the amphitheater on our own and read the signs. I believe that using headsets often enhances the experience, as explanations can be given while walking and more things can be seen. Extraordinary day
You will be surprised by the visit, especially the amphitheater. At its time, it must have been admirable. Its ruins are impressive.
Quite interesting site, be aware it’s cash only to enter , very cheap at E1.50. No cash machine on site but luckily the next door garage did let me make small purchase with cash back . Site has a lot of entrances gated so you can’t get to as many parts as wished for , the mosaics are very interesting. It could do wit more information screens / notice boards. Take note , only facilities on site are toilets and drink vending machine. We did struggle to get a taxi or uber to pick us up after due to it being out of the city . There is a bus service but times seem to vary!
Hello, thank you very much for your feedback. Kind regards from Sevilla.
Maybe it would have been nice to leave some free time to walk around Italica and be able to enjoy the moment more.It was a bit rushed everything.
Nice guide. Very informative and entertaining .......................................
Very nice archaeological towns with a very nice and competent guide. He had previously completed a history degree on Ancient Rome, which was also very noticeable. We got a very good impression behind the Hollywood backdrop of Rome.
