Lan Ha Bay, dat al jaren onder beheer staat van Cat Ba National Park, maakt in feite deel uit van het complex dat Halong Bay omvat. Met een oppervlakte van meer dan 70.000 ha bezit de baai zelf honderden adembenemende eilandjes en charmante stranden, wat een adembenemend landschap creëert dat gelijk is aan dat van zijn buurman, maar op de een of andere manier meer geïsoleerd en ongerept. Excellent extremely well organised trip, beautiful old boat with only 12 guests, excellent service, delicous meals. Great viewing areas on the boat, beautiful wooded panelled rooms with ensuits, nice activities. Couldn't fault the trio. Scenery magnificent. Highly recommend.
Very nice cruise, the boat and the crew were truly superb. The landscapes are magnificent! However, I find that the announced format of 2 days/1 night is misleading. We arrived on the first day on the boat at 1 PM and left the next day at 12 PM. This amounts to 24 hours, not 2 days... and on the second day, the bike activity took place at 7:45 AM, leaving no time to digest breakfast, and lunch was served at 10:50 AM. We still felt quite rushed to eat quickly and leave. It's a shame
Great mini-cruise with excellent food and enjoyable activities. The guide Tony is very helpful and competent. The prices for drinks are sometimes excessive.
A full on, activity packed experience. Very well timed from beginning to end and exceptionally well organised. If you want to see, and enjoy a place of great beauty, with a bit of fun thrown in, then this may well be for you. A great guide in Nam, and very well versed on keeping people entertained and happy. Some fun activities in kayaking, cycling, swimming and cookery classes. By the end I was both Weary, yet relaxed. I really must thank all the other people from around the world who participated in our tour party. They made it more enjoyable. Highly recommended
Such an amazing experience! Ha long bay is really really amazing! Our tour guide (Pinky) especially made it lots of fun from giving us interesting information to Karoake!! Highly recommend!
The price is great for everything you include. The food is great. It should improve the cleanliness of the facilities and the overall condition of the boat which is old and in need of improvement. Very attentive and friendly staff.
Just as we had imagined: symmetrical small boat with beautiful cabins, dedicated and friendly team, delicious food. The guides are very flexible and helpful. Two wonderful days in a great environment.
Me and a friend booked this trip and received confirmation we would be picked up near our hotel. We weren’t picked up and contacted the number provided. Turns out the trip we had booked through trip advisor was full. We weren’t picked transferred onto another tour that did not include a night on a boat, instead was a very run down and bleakly empty hotel on Cat Ba. The food that was included was very poor in the hotel, so we ate out. We enjoyed the kayaking and the boat day trip the next day and the food on the boat was a lot better. The tour company tried to get an additional fee from us, which we did not pay. I asked for a refund through trip advisor but was rejected. Book directly through the tour companies.
