Best Of Rome - Driving Tour

Geniet van een prachtige tour per auto om de schoonheid van de eeuwige stad in je eigen tempo te ontdekken. In deze tour wordt je bij je thuis opgehaald door een lokale chauffeur die je de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden in Roma en enkele geheime pareltjes laat zien en je vervolgens bij je thuis zal terugbrengen. We bieden 2 versies van deze tour aan: volledige dag (8 uur) en halve dag (4 uur). De rondleiding is aanpasbaar, dat wil zeggen als je een speciaal verzoek hebt dat we kunnen inpassen om je te laten hebben wat je wenst, zoals extra stops op plaatsen waar je over gehoord hebt of langere stops voor de lunch of om sites te bezoeken (We hebben deze verzoeken gedaan bij de tijd waarop u de service boekt).

Guide had a degree in architecture. He knew lots about history. He grew up in Rome. His English was excellent. He saved us lots of time by waiting while we walked around sights. Cost only slightly more than taking taxis from sight to sight. His recommendation for a restaurant to have dinner was very good.

Driver provided information and sight throughout the tour adjusting the stops to our interests. Along the way, he suggested several options with outstanding views and photo opportunities. It was a perfect way to experience Rome in a 4 hour period.

Emiliano was the absolute best driver, guide, ambassador we experienced on our trip. He took us everywhere we wanted to go and some of his suggested spots. Viator and Thybris are a match made in heaven. Our guide ("Emi") picked us up at the Rome Italy Temple in a beautiful minivan and over the course of 8 hours took us everywhere. Getting a driver/guide was one of the smartest decisions we ever made. Not only were we able to leave the driving to him, but he gave us background on everything we saw. And I think we saw just about everything! While "Ancient Rome" is amazing, the highlight for us was spending time seeing "Christian Rome" in more detail -- Santa Maria della Vittoria, Santa Maria Maggiore, San Giovanni in Laterano, and of course St. Peter's. Be sure to see both sides of this incredible city!

Great day long driving tour of Rome. Emiliano (our guide and driver) was outstanding. He was very considerate of our comfort and needs. We had two couples and his van was very comfortable and clean. Emi made sure we hit the sites and spent time where we wanted to. He also showed us other great sites. We had lunch the “Dino & Tony Hostaria - Pizzeria”. Great food and atmosphere! Dino and Tony we lots of fun! We thoroughly enjoyed our day! Thanks!
