Geniet vanaf het water van een iconisch uitzicht op de Eiffeltoren, het Louvre en (de waterstanden laten het toe) de onlangs gerestaureerde Notre Dame-kathedraal. Gedurende de dag wordt er een lunchpakket verzorgd met een stokbrood met ham en kaas, water en een dessert. Na de cruise stopt u voor foto's bij de Arc de Triomphe en de Champs-Élysées, met vrije tijd voor sightseeing, souvenir winkelen of extra snacks. Deze tour wordt zorgvuldig getimed volgens het aanmeerschema van uw schip, waardoor een soepele terugkeer naar de haven wordt gegarandeerd.

Begin uw excursie aan de wal van Parijs vanaf de cruisehaven Le Havre, waar vriendelijke gastheren u buiten de terminal zullen begroeten. Stap aan boord van een comfortabele bus met airconditioning voor een schilderachtige rit van 3 uur door het Normandische platteland. De tour sluit aan op het schema van uw schip, waardoor een tijdige terugkeer is gegarandeerd. Je eerste stop is de riviercruisesteiger, op slechts een paar honderd meter van de iconische Eiffeltoren. Je maakt een korte wandeling – ongeveer 1–2 blokken – voor fantastische fotomomenten van deze wereldberoemde bezienswaardigheid. Let op: deze tour is exclusief toegang tot de Eiffeltoren; je bekijkt het vanaf een nabijgelegen uitkijkpunt.
Geniet vervolgens van een schilderachtige cruise van 1 uur over de Seine, die vertrekt in de buurt van de Eiffeltoren. Glijd door het hart van Parijs en bekijk iconische bezienswaardigheden zoals het Louvre vanaf een uniek uitkijkpunt op het water. Audiocommentaar is inbegrepen. Als je van plan bent om op het buitendek te zitten, neem dan je eigen koptelefoon mee.
Terwijl u over de Seine vaart, passeert u het Louvre en geniet u van een prachtig uitzicht op de grote klassieke gevel. Hoewel de glazen piramide niet zichtbaar is vanaf de rivier, is de Renaissance en barokke architectuur van de westelijke vleugel indrukwekkend vanuit deze hoek. Vanaf het water kunt u de omvang en historische betekenis van het Louvre ten volle waarderen – ooit een koninklijk paleis, nu een van 's werelds meest gerenommeerde musea.
Terwijl u over de Seine vaart, geniet u van een opvallend uitzicht op het Musée d'Orsay. Ooit een Beaux-Arts station gebouwd voor de 1900 Exposition Universelle, de grote gevel - met gebogen ramen en ingewikkelde details - steekt uit de rivier. Hoewel je niet naar binnen kijkt, benadrukt dit uitkijkpunt de architectonische schoonheid van het gebouw en de transformatie ervan tot een wereldberoemd museum.
Geniet tijdens de Seinecruise van een opmerkelijk uitzicht op de Parijse bezienswaardigheden. U passeert de sierlijke Pont Alexandre III, met zijn vergulde sculpturen, een prachtig voorbeeld van Belle Époque design. Bewonder het Grand Palais en Petit Palais, tegenover elkaar aan de overkant van de rivier. Het Grand Palais is vooral opvallend met zijn massieve glazen koepel en elegante architectuur. Je glijdt ook langs Île de la Cité, de thuisbasis van de Notre Dame, het Palais de Justice en de historische Conciergerie. Deze cruise biedt een schilderachtige en onvergetelijke blik op de rijke geschiedenis en iconische architectuur van Parijs.
Als je verder gaat langs de Seine, zie je de Place de la Concorde. Bewonder vanaf de rivier de torenhoge Luxor Obelisk in het centrum, samen met de elegante fonteinen en omliggende architectuur die dit een van de meest iconische pleinen van Parijs maken.
Als het waterpeil het toelaat, breidt uw cruise zich uit naar de Notre-Dame. Geniet vanaf de rivier van een prachtig uitzicht op de gotische gevel, de twee torens en het prachtige roosvenster. De reflectie op de Seine draagt bij aan de charme van dit iconische tafereel, en biedt een rustig perspectief op de ingewikkelde details van de kathedraal, weg van de gebruikelijke drukte. Let op, de cruise kan alleen de Notre-Dame bereiken als het waterpeil het toelaat. Er wordt geen restitutie verleend als de route niet toegankelijk is op de dag van uw bezoek.
Na de riviercruise stap je in de bus naar de Arc de Triomphe. Uw gids vertelt de geschiedenis van dit iconische monument, in opdracht van Napoleon Bonaparte om zijn militaire overwinningen te vieren. De Arc is 50 meter hoog en heeft gedetailleerde sculpturen en reliëfs die belangrijke historische gebeurtenissen weergeven.
De Arc de Triomphe staat aan het einde van de wereldberoemde Champs-Élysées, omzoomd met theaters, cafés en luxe winkels die het gebied zijn levendige charme geven. Al eeuwenlang staat deze laan symbool voor Franse elegantie en flair en trekt bezoekers uit de hele wereld. Als de tijd het toelaat, heb je wat vrije tijd om te winkelen voor souvenirs of genieten van een snelle maaltijd. Houd er rekening mee dat de vrije tijd bij de Arc de Triomphe en de Champs-Élysées afhankelijk is van verkeer, speciale evenementen en andere factoren. Als omstandigheden uw vrije tijd verhinderen of verkorten, wordt geen restitutie verstrekt.
Na uw dag Parijs verkennen, wordt u comfortabel teruggebracht naar uw schip in onze touringcarbus, met onvergetelijke herinneringen. Je wordt opgehaald in de haven en keert ruim voor vertrek terug, zodat je kunt ontspannen en genieten van je avontuur.

- Deze tour is niet geschikt voor passagiers met scootmobielen of reizen met rolstoelen. Alleen lichte, opvouwbare rolstoelen zijn toegestaan. Er kunnen privérondleidingen met rolstoelaangepaste voertuigen worden geregeld.

- Deze tour bezoekt niet de Eiffeltoren binnen. U krijgt een fotomoment vanaf de riviercruise en vanaf een afstand van ongeveer enkele honderden meters.
- Gasten moeten comfortabel zijn met maximaal 20 minuten lopen per keer. Mogelijk niet geschikt voor personen met ernstige mobiliteitsbeperkingen.
- De route van de tour en de tijd doorgebracht in Parijs zijn afhankelijk van de aanlegtijden van het schip, het verkeer, speciale evenementen en andere omstandigheden buiten onze controle. Houd er rekening mee dat we geen restitutie kunnen geven als de tourtijd vanwege een van de bovenstaande redenen moet worden ingekort
- Normaal gesproken duurt deze tour 11 uur. De volgende dag duurt de tour 10 uur : In 2026 : 9 oktober (Liberty of the Seas).
- Als u te laat bent en geen contact met ons opneemt, kan de bus niet op u wachten. In dergelijke gevallen kunnen wij geen restitutie verlenen.
- De riviercruise heeft commentaar aan boord dat rechtstreeks door de bootmaatschappij wordt verzorgd. Om naar het live commentaar op het benedendek te luisteren, neem je je eigen koptelefoon mee.
- Houd er rekening mee dat de riviercruises alleen de Notre Dame-kathedraal bereiken als het waterpeil het toelaat.
- Let op: deze tour is niet geschikt voor kinderen jonger dan 3 jaar.

The ride on the coach was extremely comfortable. Our driver Blessing was certainly given his correct name. He was fantastic!!!! We had Maarten for our guide. He added a bit of humor and we loved it. Ride down the seine river was relaxing and Informative. The building designs were gorgeous. Standing near the Eiffel Tower was surreal. The lunch was a nice added touch. We were a bit disappointed that we didn't have more time as stated in the via tour description but that was no fault of our driver. There was certainly not the time frame available and they need to reframe the description. Other than that technicality the day was perfect, the weather was amazing and we were grateful to have a little shopping time on top of it all!!!
It is very long bus ride on an uncomfortable bus. Seats very close together and laid in the lap of the seat behind you. It was not worth the price of tour for the time in Paris

The price of the excursion also reflects much more than the time spent sightseeing in Paris. It includes the long-distance round-trip transportation from Le Havre, professional driver and guide services, the Seine River cruise, packed lunch, operational coordination and the logistics required to operate a shore excursion around the ship’s schedule. The vehicle and team are dedicated to the excursion for the full duration of the day, including the travel time to and from Paris. As this is a shore excursion specifically designed for cruise passengers, the time available in Paris is also determined by the ship’s time in port, road conditions and the necessary return-to-ship buffer. Our priority is to provide guests with the best possible experience in Paris while ensuring everyone returns to the ship safely and on time. Great trip enjoyed by all. Even mom using a walker was able to navigate with little difficulty. Not just a river cruise. Amir was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. Francois, an experienced driver, took us through out the city. The home made lunch provided was very tasty. I wonder what kind of cheese was used for sandwiches.
We took this tour on July 20th, 2026. We were on the Majestic Princess cruise ship docked in Le Havre. The communication from the company was clear. We knew where to be and we received an update the day prior advising us which bus we would be riding. The pick up was flawless and we off to Paris. The ride is a bit long (3hrs) but the coach is very comfortable, and even has a washroom. We stopped just outside Paris for a pit stop. You can imagine it was a bit chaotic with us and about 3-4 other tour buses stopped at the same time. In no time we were back on the road and on our way. The bus stopped at the docks and that is where we were introduced to our guide for the day. He advised on the plan for the tour of the Seine, passed out some snack packs, and accompanied us to the dock. Loading on the boat was quick and easy and we were off. The boat had a guide who seemed to speak about 4 languages. Every message about a landmark was delivered in these languages. It was hard to hear and a bit distracting. The boat also had a QR code you could use to hook into an audio channel for the highlights. It was a very pleasant day and we saw all the sites the tour could offer. After the tour we were back on the bus with our guide for a short trip to the Eiffel tour. Our guide throughout the day was able to share many little bits of information that was both informative and amusing. We only had 20 minutes at the Eiffel tower so it was difficult to do anything but get some photos. Back on the bus and off to the Arc de Triomphe. A guide gave us some tips for the stop. We had about 2 hours at the Arc and it was an enjoyable walk over to the Triomphe for the obligatory pictures. We toured the boulevard and had a bit of ice cream. Our guide also provided us with a small lunch. A ham and cheese baguette and a bottle of water. The baguette was quite good and a nice snack to power us along. At the end of the time at the Arc de Triomphe our guide bid us adieu with a champagne toast and off he was to his life. We slowly made our way out of the city and enjoyed a scenic 3 hour ride back to the ship. I would say that the trip was enjoyable and a decent value considering we docked so far from the city. I suppose those with deeper pockets might hire a smaller tour but we did feel like we missed anything.
Awesome communication throughout this trip! The guide was great and made it very easy to navigate throughout the entire journey!! Maarten was very helpful and knowledgeable about the surroundings! Great excursion through Viator on a cruise ship and spent the day on this excursion. We will definitely book through Viator when traveling out of the country! The bus was like new and extremely comfortable even though it was full. It even had a bathroom and usb port.
This was an excellent trip and the tour guide Amir was great. Very informative and his humor was incredible. Full of knowledge and answered every question. Even pointed out the best places for souvenirs and pastries.
The boat ride showed us important information about the sites. The guide on the boat was friendly and knowledgeable. The time for shopping is short. The bus was comfortable.

We enjoyed the boat ride which gave us nice views of major sights like the Eiffel Tower. The reflection of Notre Dame in the Seine was beautiful. This tour tempts us to actually stay in Paris during our next holiday.
