Duizenden muilezelherten, elanden, elanden, dikhoornschapen en bizons trekken elk jaar de vallei in op zoek naar voedsel, samen met coyotes, vossen, Amerikaanse zeearenden en steenarenden, zwanen en zelfs roedels wolven. Deze verzameling overwinterende dieren in het wild maakt de winter tot een van de beste tijden om dieren in het wild te zien in Jackson Hole! Na een volle ochtend in het veld genieten we samen van een lunch in een plaatselijk eetcafé voordat we weer op pad gaan voor de middag. Indien beschikbaar, nemen we een door paarden getrokken slee door de National Elk Refuge naar het midden van de grootste kudde wilde elanden in Noord-Amerika. Na de sledetocht gaan we terug het veld in om meer dieren in het wild te spotten. **Sleeën zijn optioneel.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Alle gasten worden opgehaald en teruggebracht naar hun accommodatie. We halen op bij hotels, appartementen en privéwoningen in Jackson en Teton Village. Uw exacte ophaaltijd wordt bepaald door uw hotellocatie. Zorg ervoor dat u ons op de hoogte brengt van uw accommodatie op het moment van boeken. Het kantoor van Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris zal u voorafgaand aan uw vertrek informeren over uw exacte ophaaltijd.

- Voor groepen van 14 gasten of minder: we hebben een annuleringsbeleid van 48 uur voor alle safari's van één dag en een annuleringsbeleid van 14 dagen voor alle safari's van 2-3 dagen. Voor meerdaagse safari's van 4 dagen of meer hanteren wij een annuleringstermijn van 30 dagen. Annuleringen die zijn gemaakt voordat de polis van kracht wordt, krijgen een volledige restitutie zonder boete. Annuleringen binnen de annuleringsvoorwaarden worden niet gerestitueerd. Voor groepen van 15 of meer gasten: We hebben een annuleringsbeleid van 30 dagen. Annuleringen die zijn gemaakt voordat de polis van kracht wordt, krijgen een restitutie minus 10% kosten. Annuleringen binnen de annuleringsvoorwaarden worden niet gerestitueerd. This was easily one of the best experiences of our entire Jackson Hole trip. Our Guide Aidan was phenomenal. He was incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely engaging, and just a lot of fun to spend the day with. We saw elk, bison, incredible scenery, and had an amazing river ride, but Aidan is what made the experience truly special. Our teenagers (15 and 17) can be a tough audience, and even they had an absolute blast. The whole family loved every minute of it. Aidan made the day feel exciting, personal, and completely effortless from beginning to end. He is a world-class guide, and I honestly cannot imagine anyone doing it better. If you are booking with Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris, ask for Aidan. You will not get a better guide.

We were met promptly at our hotel by Kristina in a very comfortable, clean car that had snacks and drinks to share. Being a photographer it was important to be out just before the sun came up for the beautiful light. Kristina knew the places to go to optimize the chance of seeing wildlife, We were lucky to encounter a moose, many bison, bald eagle and several pronghorn and elk, and of course passed the iconic barns with the Tetons as a stunning backdrop. Kristina's knowledge and personality made it a very pleasant four hour tour.

Our tour of Yellowstone with Austin Hennigan will always be remembered as one of the most awesome adventures of our lives. His knowledge of ALL THINGS YELLOWSTONE was priceless to our family of 6 from Louisiana! His compassion and respect for the wildlife that we encountered was impressive . When we return to Yellowstone one day with would definitely book another tour with Austin, Not to be forgotten was the picnic lunch that he treated us to beside a stream and with a beautiful waterfall nearby!
