We hebben deze reis zo samengesteld dat u Nicaragua op een authentieke manier kunt ontdekken, door een bezoek te brengen aan enkele van de plekken waar we het meest trots op zijn in ons land. Verken de kleurrijke koloniale straten van Granada, vaar langs de beroemde 365 eilandjes van Granada op het Cocibolcameer, het grootste meer van Midden-Amerika, geniet van het adembenemende uitzicht vanaf het uitkijkpunt Catarina en bewonder de majestueuze actieve krater van de Masaya-vulkaan. Tijdens de hele tour delen onze enthousiaste lokale gidsen met u de geschiedenis, cultuur en tradities die Nicaragua zo'n bijzonder land maken, waardoor u elke bestemming op een authentieke en onvergetelijke manier kunt ervaren. We zullen een wandeling maken rond het centrale plein van de stad Granada, waar we de majestueuze en historische kathedraal van Granada Nuestra Señora de Asunción zullen zien. Als die dag de kerk open is, kunnen we 1 dollar per persoon betalen om naar de klokken te gaan en Bekijk het prachtige centrum van Granada van bovenaf, we zullen een kijkje nemen op de kleine ambachtelijke markt, de typische gerechten van de stad en de prachtige mensen die er omheen staan. We lopen naar de verbrande kerk van La Merced, waar de gids je zal voorzien van informatie over de geschiedenis van elke kerk en plaats, en de toegang is gratis. Tenslotte zullen we een educatieve en dynamische rondleiding krijgen in het beroemde Chocolademuseum, waar we een gratis rondleiding krijgen over hoe en waarvoor cacao vroeger werd gebruikt.
Nadat we van de stad hebben genoten, gaan we naar het majestueuze meer Cocibolca of het meer van Nicaragua, een enorme watervlakte vol met vele vissoorten en de populaire stierhaai, de enige zoetwaterhaai ter wereld. We zullen een boot nemen en we zullen weten hoe de 365 eilanden zijn gevormd en we zullen ze allemaal kennen, een van de meest populaire, zoals de 2 Monkey Islands, Fort San Pablo waar we tegen Captain Morgan zullen vechten en het beste uitzicht op de Mombacho-vulkaan. We zullen de beste kapitein hebben en met Nicaraguaanse muziek op de achtergrond.
De haven van Granada, waar de boot vertrekt naar de Ometepe-eilanden, en waar eerder de trein vertrok, met het beste restaurant van Granada op de bovenste verdieping met het beste uitzicht op het meer en de Mombacho-vulkaan, waar we kunnen eten en drinken drink lekker als je dat wilt.
De grootste ambachtsmarkt in Midden-Amerika, waar kooplieden subtiel met hun handen elk ornament, elke stoel, maca, alles wat je maar kunt bedenken, bewerken met kwaliteitswerk en de cultuur die Nicaragua kenmerkt. De beste plek om uw souvenirs te kopen.
Dit uitkijkpunt biedt een spectaculair uitzicht op de Apoyo-lagune, een krater die voorheen een vulkaan was, maar vandaag de dag een indrukwekkende waterkrater of lagune is waar het prachtige uitzicht ons in staat stelt het ecosysteem te waarderen en tegelijkertijd de indrukwekkende Mombacho-vulkaan van Granada. Er zijn verschillende soorten activiteiten, zoals zipline en paardrijden.
Geniet van de actieve krater van de Masaya-vulkaan, het museum en een klein pad waar je kunt zien waar de aarde ademt.

Granada + San Juan + playa popoyo~ I had booked a separate tour through getyourguide and the tour operator messaged me to confirm booking. I also asked him if there were any customized tours he can arrange for me for 1 free day i had and wanted to visit granada+ san juan+ playa popoyo. He gave me options, pricing, time duration, weather updates and i chose from it and it was confirmed within hours. Very fast, efficient replies from Jordan. Anthony was my tour guide. He is one of the best guides i have met while on my solo trips. He is very knowledgeable with history of Nicaragua and has a passion for not only his work but also his nation and it reflects in his experiences for clients. We started from managua, drove to granada first to see one of the best colonial towns. It's rich in culture, architecture and vibes. Also thanks to Anthony because he is patient and very accomodating of people's request, be it viewing specific spots, finding best food places, taking a million photos for you(even if it's annoying, he does it with a smile), or any other things you want to do, you can make a request and surely he will find a solution for it, if it's possible. From Granada we drove to san juan, very beautiful town, lucky to have had good sunny weather and see the statue, and views of beach from top. We had o rush from there to popoyo because i wanted to catch sunset, and anthonyyy being the great driver he is, made it happen. We reached just in time to catch the last bit of sunset, verh beautiful. Tony was very quick in moving things and friendly. This trip is good if you are a small group or solo and wants to get things done quickly. Islets were nice and so was the Granada Town. Wait for the Masaya volcano, was the only flaw, but Tony got there first after the gate open and was able to take good pics
A wonderful introduction to Nicaragua! It was both a structure tour, but it also had some flexibility. We got to see Granada downtown as well as visit a few churches and climb a bell tower for great panoramic views. This was followed by a tour of a chocolate museum, a boat ride on Lake Nicaragua, a spontaneous visit to a cigar shop to try Nicaraguan cigars, a visit to a panoramic viewpoint at apoyo lagoon, and finished the day visiting the masaya volcano crater My guide was Marvin and he was an excellent guide who made sure we were comfortable and offered great conversation. Overall highly recommend both this tour and the guide Marvin!
