Besakih Temple Tour biedt interessante uitstapjes naar de grootste tempel van Bali, de Besakih-tempel, die ook wel de moedertempel van Bali wordt genoemd. Naast het bezoeken van deze tempel, bezoeken we ook enkele andere attracties in de buurt, zoals Kertha Gosa - het gerechtshof van het Gelgel-koninkrijk, de Bukit Jambul-heuvel en de Tukad Cepung-waterval. We bieden een privétour onder leiding van een Engels sprekende chauffeur die je rondleiding helpt en de lokale kennis overdraagt.
Kertha Gosa was niet precies bekend wie de grondlegger van dit paleis was, maar volgens de Candra Sengkala uitgehouwen in pemedal Agung (de belangrijkste deur van het paleis), was het bestaan in het jaar Caka, Cakra Yuyu Paksi Paksi wat betekent het jaar Caka 1622 of rond 1700 AD, toen Dewa Agung Jambe het koninkrijk Bali regeerde.
Bukit Jambul Hill staat bekend als een uitstekende natuurlijke toeristische bestemming vanwege de harmonieuze combinatie van heuvelachtig land, rijstvelden, valleien en het prachtige zeezicht op een afstand. Van hoog land, zullen we in staat zijn om de schoonheid van de natuur eronder te zien. Een prachtig vruchtbaar rijstvelden-terras rondom het gebied van Bukit Jambul heeft al lang zijn reputatie genoten.
Besakih-tempel die een uitgestrekt gebied bedekt met een adembenemend berglandschap rondom dit prachtige en artistieke tempelcomplex. Tegenover Mt. Pura Besakih is gebouwd in het dorp Besakih, in het oostelijke deel van Bali, en is de hoogste piek van Agung, waarvan wordt aangenomen dat het de verblijfplaats van de goden is. Het ligt op een hoogte van 900 meter.
De Tukad Cepung-waterval heeft iedereen die het heeft ontdekt betoverd. Goed bewaakt door de kliffen, deze waterval is moeilijk te vinden voor de eerste keer bezoeker. Een paar honderd trappen langs de klif is de moeite waard als je eenmaal op de bestemming aankomt. De cirkelvormige kliffen geven je het gevoel in een grot te zijn, terwijl de open hemel vanaf waar de waterval tevoorschijn komt, je het meest betoverende uitzicht geeft. Het zonlicht valt op de glinsterende waterval en creëert een regenboog, die aanvoelt alsof hij tot aan je is geprojecteerd. Als je nog nooit water uit de lucht hebt zien stromen, dan is dit je kans. In tegenstelling tot andere watervallen op Bali, stroomt de Tukad Cepung-waterval niet in een rivier, beek of jungle, maar stroomt hij zachtjes over de kliffen. De rivier is van bovenaf te zien, terwijl de waterval alleen kan worden bekeken als je de trap afloopt en de klif in.

Really lucked out with Budi as my tour guide. With 30 years of experience hes super knowledgeable and great at taking photos. Meaning we avoided the crowds where possible and had the views and experiences all to myself. Strong recommend on the tour, even if it is further out. The monuments, temple and waterfalls with that amazing view for lunch are worth the long day!

Last minute( last night) booked the Besakih Great Temple (mother temple) tour for today with eco bali. Within minutes of email confirmation, I got Whatsapp message from Ariana to coordinated and confirmed pickup location and time. He arrived 15 minutes earlier than the meeting time the next day and patiently waiting for me to finished my order of coffee and bakery then we off to the tour. He is very approachable and easy to talk to which makes the 3 hrs drive went by quick. He is also very accommodating. He make an Extra stop (out of the itinerary ) to a local plantation after found out I was looking for some local Bali coffee. Before we fight hectic traffic with heavy rain back to hotel. Over all, Ariana makes the tour was very relax, no rushing. It was very enjoyable tour. I highly recommended and will contact him again when I am visiting Bali again.

It was an amazing day tour! I and my husband visited some cultural places and Besakih temple. As it was the first time for us to go to these places, our tour guide - Mr Komang Yudana - explained us deeply about balinese history, geography and cultures. We could enjoy not only seeing places but also learning new aspects of bali!

This tour is enriched with the History and ancestry of Bali as well as breathtakingly beautiful places. Lunch was delicious and overlooked a landscape fit for the movies! The Mother Temple was our favorite in Bali. The waterfall was stunning as well. We toured with Budi whom, is a great diver as well as thoughtful, knowledgeable and kind. I would request him again!
