Berlijn : Herdenkingstocht door concentratiekamp Sachsenhausen
Beschrijving
Ga mee op een onvergetelijke rondleiding naar Sachsenhausen, een van de belangrijkste Holocaust-herdenkingsplaatsen en een voormalig concentratiekamp van de nazi's. Deze ervaring biedt een diep en respectvol inzicht in de geschiedenis en het dagelijks leven binnen het kamp, waardoor je de wreedheden en veerkracht van degenen die hier hebben geleden, beter begrijpt. Ons ontmoetingspunt is Alexanderplatz, waar u wordt verwelkomd door een Expert lokale Gids. Van daaruit maken we een mooie treinrit naar Sachsenhausen. Bij aankomst verken je de belangrijkste plekken van het kamp, waaronder de beruchte Toren A, met het spookachtige bord “Arbeit macht frei”. We wandelen door barakken 38 en 39, waar Joodse gevangenen werden vastgehouden, bezoeken de strafcellen, de ziekenboeg en het lijkenhuis. Je ziet ook de keuken, nu omgetoverd tot museum, en de overblijfselen van Station Z. Aan het einde van de tour heb je de mogelijkheid om met de groep terug te keren naar Berlijn of langer te blijven om in je eigen tempo te verkennen.

Begin uw tour met het ontmoeten van uw Gids op Alexandreplatz, naast de Wereldklok. Rit naar het Sachsenhausen Memorial en Museum in Oranienburg.

Excellent experience!! Guide was so knowledgeable about the History. Very hot day to explore, but our guide accommodated us with speaking in shaded areas and ensuring we had access to water. By far the best tour on our trip to Berlin.

Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and presented us with the history in detail. The camp is very large and there is a lot to see. Once we got there after the travel there was not much time to see it. I think our tour guide was Paul (from Liverpoool but now a native of Berlin). He was great!!!

Fantastic experience with Walid, he is knowledgeable beyond normal guides. Great energy and side points and stories that were so interesting. Really ties in everything relevant that relates to the camp. Concise with out leaving important details out. He’s helpful with learning the train schedules. Highly recommend, great experience for my family.

Our tour guide Richard was excellent - knowledgeable and explained things in just the right amount of detail. He tailored information and the travelling to the memorial for the group and made sure everyone was looked after. The trip needed you to buy the travel tickets but Richard made sure we were on the best route there and back. We had plenty time to see the key areas but you also have the option to stay longer if you want to take more time.I would highly recommend this tour guide.
