Dit is een ander cascade-paar dat je moet zien als je Lombok bezoekt. Gelegen in het regentschap van Centraal Lombok, op slechts anderhalf uur rijden van, De naam Benang Setokel betekent een bundel van draad. Deze waterval bestaat uit twee niveaus en elk hoog als 20 meter. Het water komt van een rivier stroomopwaarts op de berg Rinjani. De tempel van Lingsar als grootste heiligdom op het eiland Lombok bestaat sinds 1714, gebouwd door Ketut Karangasem, de opvolger van King. Dit heiligdom is een federatie tussen het hindoeïsme en Islamitische Wektu Telu. Beste culturele erfgoedsite van het oude waterpaleis van Narmada. Gebouwd door de koning van Mataram in 1805, een replica van de berg Rinjani-top en het Crater-meer. De oude koning bouwde dit paleis toen hij niet langer in staat was de berg 3, 726 Rinjani te beklimmen

Our driver Andy was such a lovely relaxed & informative man. Our local guide Ricco was very helpful & always offering support anytime I needed help especially with the very high steps. The trip was amazing & the waterfalls were beautiful 🤩 a must see when in Lombok. I am 66 & my husband is 71 & we walked the entire way. Very doable if you are relatively in good shape. I would recommend this day trip to Benang Setokel & Benang Kelambu. Lesley 🇦🇺

Great trip to see the waterfalls. Andy offered excellent communication, arranging the trip for us at short notice. He was friendly, knowledgeable and picked us up on time. At the waterfall, he’d arranged a local guide to take us up - she was amazing with our 5yo daughter, and gave us plenty of time to walk up at our own pace. The waterfalls were beautiful, and well worth the easy walk. On the way down, we’d arranged with Andy to get a short moped ride back down, which my daughter loved! There we stopped for some lunch (best nasi goreng I had through the whole trip!), before Andy drove us home again. Would recommend!

I booked last minute, and was thankful that they were able to accommodate me. The freelance guide that I got was really good. He was informative and was genuinely passionate about what he was doing. Most importantly, he wasn't at all pushy about using his services again, and that made me feel very comfortable. There aren't many tour guides who will put passion above money. The rating is one star less because I am not sure how much of what I paid (which isn't cheap by local standard) goes to the tour guide instead of the company.
