Vertrek vanuit Bellagio voor een suggestieve boottocht om de wonderen van het Comomeer te ontdekken. De Villa Melzi d'Eril in Bellagio is een historische privéwoning die nu als museum wordt gebruikt. Het landgoed is eigendom van de familie Melzi d'Eril, nu de Gallarati Scotti tak, en is uitgeroepen tot nationaal monument.
De Villa del Balbianello is een historische residentie in Lenno, aan de westelijke oever van het Comomeer. Het staat aan het einde van het schiereiland Lavedo, een charmant voorgebergte dat uitsteekt in het water van het Comomeer en dat zijn naam 'Balbianello' dankt aan deze villa.
Villa Balbiano, een juweel aan het Comomeer daterend uit de late 16e eeuw, is een van de meest verfijnde locaties voor exclusieve bruiloften. De villa kijkt uit over het meer en heeft een elegante Italiaanse tuin met adembenemend uitzicht. Het interieur, rijk aan kunst en antieke meubels, weerspiegelt alle glamour en stijl waardoor het beroemd werd in tijdschriften als Harper's Bazaar en Vogue US.
Het Grand Hotel Tremezzo, gebouwd tussen 1907 en 1910, is een iconisch Art Nouveau hotel aan de oevers van het Comomeer. Het werd officieel geopend op 10 juli 1910 en verwelkomde vanaf het begin een internationaal eliteklantenpubliek, dat de verfijnde geest van de Belle Époque belichaamde.
Villa Carlotta, een historische residentie aan het Comomeer, werd in de 17e eeuw gebouwd door markies Giorgio Clerici. Het werd eigendom van illustere persoonlijkheden zoals Sommariva en prinses Marianne van Pruisen, en werd vernoemd naar hun dochter Carlotta. Vandaag de dag is het een beroemd museum met botanische tuinen en kunstwerken die een beeld geven van eeuwen van schoonheid en cultuur.

We waited in sweltering heat, but the boat did not come. When it did arrive, it could not dock because it has to use the public pier and that was apparently full. A person who was also waiting then called, and we received the message that the boat would be back in 15 minutes. After another 30 minutes, we called again. They wanted to contact the captain and check in. The tour was then canceled via WhatsApp. But only to the person who had also called. We are still waiting, 90 minutes later, for a cancellation. Now it means chasing after one's money. An hour later, we saw the boat dock in Menaggio after all. It was apparently possible after all. A ruined morning. Too bad. This company is not recommended. Their communication is abysmal.
Fine boat trip of about 1.5 hours from Bellagio to Varenna, and from there around part of the lake. Pickup was punctual at the agreed time, with pre-ordered tickets no trouble at all. At the village of Varenna people are still crammed onto the boat, so make sure you have a nice spot. Exactly when we thought we had seen it we headed back to the coast, so was a perfect round for us.

Sooo easy, straight forward booking this boat tour on Lake Como in Bellagio Italy. I ALWAYS USE TRIP ADVISOR !!! It was exactly what we wanting!! EXCELLENT, Thank you I highly recommend this boat tour !!
I booked this tour through GetYourGuide, but the review is directly with the local Bellagio Boat Prescriber, who runs the Service. Unfortunately, the experience was not satisfactory. You can follow an audio guide via a QR code, but in practice the experience was confusing and poorly cared for. No map or clear indication of the stops on the tour is provided: you never really know where you are or which villa you are looking at. This makes it difficult to follow the audio guide consistently and fully enjoy the ride. In addition, the tour did not entirely follow the planned route: after Villa del Balbianello, the boat turned back, skipping other villas indicated in the guide, such as Villa Balbiano. I expected a more fluid and immersive experience.
In living room in Bellagio you have to take a ride on the lake! And this boat is large, comfortable and spacious, with both outdoor (sun!) and Covered berths. There are 2 toilets and the bar (very expensive!!). It is not true that you have to book online, you can do it at the desk by paying by card. The tour should last 90 minutes (70 on weekends) but ours lasted 70 even on Monday... A handy app describes the various villas. Bring your earphones! To be done. Fair price.
We had booked and paid for the trip from Menaggio. We were ready on the boat bridge when the boat arrived. It stood quietly out on the water in front of us for a few minutes. We are called up, and we can not come with because the boat is full (presumably due to overbooking). We could then see the boat sailing on without us. Now we're waiting to get our money back.
Gives you a nice view of your surroundings. We were staying in Bellagio & had limited time for excursions. Weather cancelled our main excursion the day before & booking excursions last minute is difficult in July.
