We zullen een aantal verschillende locaties in en rond het protestantse Shankill Road gebied bezoeken.
Hier krijg je de kans om de vredesmuur te signeren, je eigen persoonlijke boodschap achter te laten, een theepauze van 15 minuten te hebben, te praten over een deel van de geschiedenis uit het verleden.
Een andere vredesmuur die katholieke en protestantse buren scheidt en scheidt, ziet hoe sommige mensen nog steeds moeten leven met grills op hun ramen, 25 jaar na de GFA.
Stop in Bombay Street en leg meer uit over de conflictkwesties van het verleden. Bezoek de Clonard Martyrs Rememberance Garden die ook is opgedragen aan allen die tijdens het conflict stierven uit die directe omgeving, inclusief burgers.
Bezoek de Bobby Sands-muurschildering aan de zijkant van de Sinn Fein Press Office, tijd om naar de souveinor-winkel te gaan, hoor over het republikeinse 5 jaar durende protest, "The Men on the Blanket Protest" "The Dirty Protest" de laatste fase " The Hunger Strike "die het leven kostte aan tien mannen. Ga naar Conway Mill als het een geopend Republikeins Museum is en eindig dan bij de International Peace Wall.

An incredibly powerful and informative tour. We learned so much about the political history and the “Troubles” and our tour guide was very knowledgeable, honest, and straightforward which we appreciated. Would highly recommend this tour.
Great guide who was really knowledgeable about the history of the troubles. We saw everything and came away a little amazed that there was still a large wall with gates segregating Catholics from Protestants.
Loved this tour. James was very knowledgeable and the tour was very informative. Gave us a clearer picture of the history of Northern Ireland and inspired me to learn more.
Learned a lot more about the Troubles in the past and current, but do NOT sit in the back of the van, as you cannot hear the driver when the AC is operational
This tour is more about history than seeing landmarks. It’s personal, moving, and humbling. Well worth our time.
Great tour on the history of Belfast, it took in lots of tourist highlights like murals and the cathedral but also covered the troubles very well.
The main thrust of this tour is conflict within Ireland, and Paul is a very knowledgeable guide. For those not familiar with this part of Irish history, it would be helpful for them to familiarize themselves a bit before the tour, as they then would be better prepared to assimilate the information and ask good questions. Paul was considerate and helpful throughout.
Description is misleading. We didn’t get a soda, water or a tea stop . No Wi-Fi in the cab. Driver was very opinionated. I would’ve rather paid the money for the hop on hop off city tour.
It was a great experience. Wonderful to hear all of the history, even though the history itself is quite horrifying how humanity treats each other.
We booked Paul’s cab and all I can say is fantastic. From picking us up Paul was fountain of knowledge. We drove all through Belfast and talked about the political situation over there. We stopped a coupe of times and we ever had a coffee and cake break. Highly recommend to anyone coming over to Belfast
