Walking through the ancient streets of these iconic locations was truly an emotional and unforgettable experience. We had an amazing day with our fabulous guide and driver, Salvo. The drive up to Forza d’Agro was scenic and the village was so charming. Walking the quiet village streets felt like walking through history -as well as cinematic history. Loved seeing the filming locations from The Godfather (church backdrop, front door of “Corleone home,” village streets) as well as grabbing a coffee from a local cafe where the bicycle the priest rode was on display. From there, we went to Savoca, to see the iconic Bar Vitelli. We took a fun Ape taxi through the narrow streets for panoramic views and to visit the church where Michael and Apollonia got married. Enjoyed a fruit delicious lunch at Geronelso. A 10 out of 10 day!
