Middle Clear Creek is een van de beste raftingrails voor beginners in de Verenigde Staten. Met tal van stroomversnellingen en historische betekenis is het moeilijk om de waarde te ontkennen. Hoewel Clear Creek meer stroomversnellingen bevat dan de meeste andere renners in de VS, zijn de stroomversnellingen van ons middengedeelte eenvoudig en perfect voor gezinnen met kinderen of iemand anders die op zoek is naar iets gemakkelijker. We had a fantastic time with our guide Mark. The water level was low due to weather conditions but the rapids were still fun! It’s a great trip for first timers and families as the guides are informative and very patient. Highly recommend.
We had a great experience on the water with our daughter’s softball team. Our guide, Toast, was knowledgeable and skilled. He also had a solid set of “dad jokes” to entertain us. Best perk - Free pictures! Highly recommend this experience

The beginner whitewater rafting from DownStream adventures was awesome! It was sooo beautiful! We were first timers and it was easy and fun! Nick, our guide was hilarious! My 14-year-old son had a blast. This was very easy and enjoyable!! Check-in was a breeze, and they have everything you need… even footwear rental! they have changing rooms, restrooms, they thought of everything!!!! We did not stop to swim as it was chilly water, but the trip was about an hour and 15 minutes downstream.
This was a relaxing float with a couple of little downward movement, super safe, super friendly, awesome guides. wonderful! We highly recommend it.

The most amazing experience! We booked Downstream because they allowed the youngest age requirements and wanted to include our whole group. Our group leader Ike was so personable, welcoming and helpful! We had a larger group and he made it so easy! The whole experience was flawless I’m so thankful we found them. It was about 40 min drive from where we were staying in Denver but it was so simple. The rafting itself felt so safe, and full of adventure! Our guide Will Smith was perfect and well versed. You could tell our guides and this establishment is so well run! We got a history lesson on the Beginner route which just added to the experience. Even on the bus ride back to the depot they made a lunch recommendation in downtown Idaho Springs which we did and it topped the best day off! So happy we did it!
I went with my wife and 10 year old son and had great fun. The staff was friendly and professional and our guide, Ike, was great and made us feel comfortable during the entire trip. Recommended and we are ready to return to complete a more advanced rafting trip.
This has been a dream of mine to raft down Clear Creek. Downstream Adventures made this possible! Ike took us down the stream with precision and accuracy. He educated us on how the trip would go, what to be aware of but most importantly, HE MADE IT FUN! I would definitely recommend Downstream Adventures and I would ask for Ike for my next trip!
