John our guide was brillant So imformative .My 7 year old granddaughter was with us and she really enjoyed it learning all about the estate and Bella the guide horse .su
Lovely way to spend an hour in Killarney National Park. Our 'driver' Tony with his mare Guinness was an efficient guide and great banter. The park is huge so unless you have boundless energy, this is a nice way to visit.
Guide was great - super friendly and knowledgeable. Nice way to see Killarney National Park and Ross Castle
Our tour guide was Gerald and his horse counterpart Bitsy. Both were top notch. The national park is very pretty. The trip to the Ross Castle and the Loch of Learning is enjoyable but short. It was raining/drizzling most of the morning when our tour was scheduled. When we got out to walk around the castle I realized how important shoe choice is. The area is a common stop for many horse drawn carriages throughout the day. Most of the carriages have a way to contain the horse poop but some still falls on the ground. That poop gets stepped on/rolled over and mixes in the puddles to make a slurry of sorts. Soft absorbing material on shoes can soak up some of the lovely slurry and then you track it back to your ride with you.
Absolutely beautiful 😍 Highly recommend. Seeing the castle and the carriage ride was a memorable occasion.
Nice overview of castle grounds and town. Seemed quick but guide Connor was knowledgeable and inviting. Horse Molly was eager to go and show us the town!
Our driver, Patrick, was jovial, fun loving, full of interesting information and his horse, Jack was very obliging. We thought the Killarney National park was a magically beautiful place. Patrick stopped whenever we wanted a picture. We got out at Ross Castle and had a 20 minute look around with plenty of photos. A very relaxing, enjoyable time!! We highly recommend!!! You won’t be disappointed.
Great carriage ride with a wonderful tour guide who knew all about the National Park! Ride was smooth and park was beautiful.
The trails through the park were beautiful and it allowed us to explore it with limited time. The guide was interesting and knowledgeable
We loved the horse and carriage experience and the beautiful park but the experience was dampened because of our driver. His phone rang 6 times, he answered every time and talked away. Very unprofessional and distracting. Disappointing. He also cut our hour short be 7 minutes!
