De meest populaire kajaktocht in Tampa Bay verkent zowel de prachtige wateren als de prachtige stranden van Shell Key Preserve. We ontmoeten iedereen bij de lancering, doen introducties, geven waterdichte tassen en bereiden iedereen voor op kajakken. Ervaring is niet nodig, want we geven iedereen een peddeloverzicht! We gebruiken voornamelijk dubbele kajaks voor gemak en comfort. (Uw boekingstijd is de geplande aankomsttijd. Gemiddelde waterdiepte 60 cm) Daarna worden we gelanceerd in Shell Key Preserve! The Preserve is een prachtige ondiepe omgeving met tonnen dieren in het wild en een zeer interessant ecosysteem dat we zullen bespreken, plus de geschiedenis van het Preserve! Van de ondiepe zeegrasvlakten tot de grote mangrove-eilanden tot de ongerepte stranden van Shell Key zelf, we zullen proberen het allemaal te bedekken! Inclusief reizen door enkele mangrovetunnels (met vriendelijke getijden, voornamelijk maart-oktober) We zullen ook zoeken naar + praten over enkele van onze ongelooflijke dieren in het wild in het reservaat, waaronder dolfijnen, zeekoeien en andere vissen en vogels!

We zullen ongeveer 30 minuten besteden aan het verkennen van de stranden van Shell Key met de mogelijkheid om te zwemmen, waden, schelpen te verzamelen, enz
We zullen ongeveer een uur per enkele reis naar het eiland peddelen om de schoonheid van de mangrove-eilanden en zeegrasvlaktes van het reservaat te verkennen!

This eco tour was a top highlight of our trip to the area. A great combo of kayaking and exploring shell key. Nick is very knowledgeable about the wildlife and you will learn a lot. Such an enjoyable time exploring shell key. We were lucky enough to see a manatee! Also, kayaking through the mangroves was a fun experience. You won’t be disappointed! 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a great activity! Nick was very knowledgeable about the wildlife of St. Pete’s , was friendly, and made the kayak trip so enjoyable. We plan to take another kayak trip with him again when we return here. We saw a manatee and a horse conch, among other animals.
Taylor is the bomb-diggety! She is super friendly, hardworking, and knowledgeable. The whole trip rocked and it was because of her.

Nick showed us a lot of interesting facts about the animal and plant life of the mangroves and explained them to us. Very respectful treatment of the animals and plants. The kayak trip is suitable for beginners and highly recommended.
Very accommodating, anyone could do it. Nick was wonderFULL, very patient and knowledgeable. This tour was not only a hit for our family visiting us, but was also a hit for our 10yro. A lot of stops. I love that he emphasized the importance of taking everything back that your brought and the importance of everything in the ecosystem.
